>You allow Yamame a couple moments to lower herself to the ground and detach herself from her tether, then make your way back toward the salt crystal chamber. The trip is a bit time consuming, but largely uneventful. Yamame shows some interested in the soil-filled chamber that you pass through, and the faerie in the room that you awoke in looks up at the two of you with dismay on her face.
>When you return to the salt crystal chamber,  Yamame has a look around and says, "Hey buddy, I bet that tunnel over there goes to the river, we've gotta be pretty close."

>With her standing and you in your bucket, quite a bit so. If you stood up, well, you're not sure. You're really not used to thinking of yourself like that.
>You would need to be floating to look her in the eye, or perched on top of something which is what you customarily do
>The lower half of her dress gets pretty pretty wide; if not for the way it closes you could easily hide there.

>That she is, but you're pretty sure she doesn't think she's a weirdo.
>"You got it," says Yamame, as she follows you over to the opening.  You get close enough to it that your bucket is pressed against the stone. Yamame looms too close you, and says "Yeah, that's a tight squeeze alright."

> Extricate from bucket (and Yamame), proceed into hole.

>You extricate yourself from your bucket, and float into the hole. It's not too difficult to slip through the opening now, and you proceed into the tunnel.
>The walls here are very narrow, there is hardly room for your shoulders, nor could you really expect to stand up comfortably if you could stand. There is not really a floor or a ceiling so much as placed where the walls come together at a point. The tunnel twists southward and downward, growing more narrow and seeming to make a sudden drop. You think you are going to have to float sideways to fit your shoulder through, and you doubt that it would be pleasant.

>You float onward, turning and shifting as needs be. It is unpleasant, but you manage to make it through to where the tunnel drops off.  Looking below, you see it descends sharply a good fifteen or so feet before leveling out. You can just get a glimpse of what is beyond it; you think it is a chamber.

>You descend down the chute. It's a slow descent, but you manage to maneuver your way down without falling or hurting yourself on the rock. The bottom of the chute is a smooth incline, leading another chamber. Looking inside, it seems to be a roughly circular room. You can see what looks like an improvised table, given there is a piece of old cloth on it. Looking around, you notice couple clay pots, and some other things you can't quite identify.

>You make your way inside.
>The room is vaguely oblong and feels oddly stuffy. The ceiling is about ten feet from the floor, the walls a bit further apart than that. Looking around, you can see some old wooden boxes and clay pots scattered about; there doesn't seem to be much order here. There's a fair amount of old trash, as well. a lone chopstick here, some torn cloth there, a stain of unidentifiable something that was probably some meat ages ago. The last one probably contributes strongly to the stale smell in here. Glancing into the pots, a lot of them seem to be empty, but a couple seem to have some things.
>You could certainly use a rest now., but you can push yourself further if you want.
