In all GTAs ported to PC, there is an extra "radio station" which is actually a mere MP3 player, hence its name "User Track Player" (or for you people who have GTA IV, it's called Independence FM).
This gave me an idea: why not making, since there's a helluva touhou skins and mods, a custom Gensokyo-themed radio station out of the User Track Player?
So I came up with this idea. The radio's name I thought of would be Gensokyo FM but if you have a better name, shout it out in a PM.
Here's what is planned, and thus what I will need:

For the next steps: Some voice acting will be required. But don't worry, I will be participating myself.
(NEXT) Step 2: Song Announcements
Before the songs, eating just on the beginning, usually DJs call out the song's name along with the name of the artist. An example: "Okay, back with the songs on Gensokyo FM. Coming right next is REDALiCE with Iolite, from their album Lycoris. Enjoy, it's on the one and only: G-FM." (Iolite is just ONE example - it doesn't have to be on the playlists you come up with is not on the playlist :V).
This is where possible volunteers might come in: When Step 1 will be decided on the playlist, I will recruit a few volunteers to act as Song Announcers. Once they're chosen, all the volunteers have to do is (provided they have a good mic and no interfering sounds) to record themselves saying such sentences and then send them to me, so I can just mount it on the song.
Here, it doesn't matter, various voices are fine for each song, as long it's convincing. You'll see, it's not hard.
Why I don't want too much songs: EACH song must have a short announcement. The more there are, the more voice acting will be needed - but it allows for more variety in the voices announcing.
Step 3: Radio Announcements, Jingles and Interactions
To increase the value of the radio station, we should set up the following:
> A few jingles (To be chosen: A "Jingle-Voice" to say things like "Nothing makes sense anymore, this is Gensokyo FM!" between songs, and such)
> A DJ coming up with announcements (To be chosen: A "DJ voice")
>> Weather forecasts (they don't need to match actual in-game weather, who cares)
>> Short talk shows (There will be two types of those. 1) Voice actors to voice Gensokyo girls coming over the GFM show to talk about what they did - ending up in serious lulz - 2) People from MotK voicing themselves, introducing themselves using their nicknames, all witnesses or even victims of the touhous' heinous acts throughout SA)
Step 4: Advertisements and messages to the population
>Touhou-themed advertisements (Mystia's grilled chicken stand, Nitori's mechanic services, etc etc)
>Other messages (from the SAPD or such) warning about the touhous' activity
Upcoming step: Step 2
That's it. If you have any questions about the project, if you want precisions on something, just ask. If not, then it's time to follow Step 1 and give me good ideas for a playlist. to wait for Step 2 to be ready.

Yamaxanadu: This song is a little bit too long, and here my problem lies in the running time on-air. Songs shouldn't be this long to avoid boring the listeners - but thanks anyway, that's another album I'll seek out for, because this is insanely kickass.

Overdrive and MStPT are overrated memes.
Harsh truth is that one would not enjoy listening to that noise, as funny as they are.
It would be just annoying to have them in GTA.

Overdrive is still there because it's not THAT bad but if it's too long or too annoying, I can still cut the songs and end them by a GFM jingles or such. It's easy to do - but MSTPT, not a single note shall be heard of that crap. Not one. Ever. THIS is utter crap.

Three more songs are in. The one that didn't make it was the vocal of Steel of Scarlet, because the vocals are the problem. I uh... I don't like them at all. It makes the song sound worse. I know, I know, you're gonna tell me drums aren't fitting but I prefer that to horrible vocals. >_<
UPDATE: Out of personal preference, taboo tears you up 2008 has been added to the playlist as well. Also, playlist will close upon reaching 32 songs.

Update. Yeah, I know. Sorry for upping an old topic, but this mod isn't dead yet - it's just that I felt this mod should at least have a WIP release.
Sadly, due to lack of organization, and a lot of boxes and crates to prepare a moving -as my signature states anyway-, I couldn't get around to ask for voice actors or prepare the rest of the steps of the project. But at least, I have a full pack of songs ready in OGG format for download. So, for the few of you out there who have Touhou mods on their GTA SA, here it is.

How to install
Download the file (duh)
Head to your "GTA San Andreas User Files" file which is located in My Documents.
Extract the file you downloaded in the User Tracks file you will find in the GTA SA User Files.
Run GTA San Andreas, load your savegame, and wait until you're in-game.
When you are, head to the options, Audio options, then User songs options. Here, click on "Scan user tracks", and wait for it to finish scanning.
When it's done, get in any vehicle, and turn up the radio. Switch to the User Track Player, and enjoy!
