Sega actually made an official announcement like 6 days ago regarding PSO2 west... They repeated the sMe thing as last year "delayed"... But saying something after so long close to e3... It better be for a reason! Though i doubt it.

Son of a gun I was just looking to notice there wasn't an e3 thread and about to make one.

Anyway, yeah, E3 is here for people who are interested in the ever-sillier console wars. Or the ever-more-serious, depending where you stand. For some it's just a chance to laugh at their least favorite company when they make horrible conference mistakes (PS3 and Xbone reveals, anyone?)

This year is the second year of the current console generation, with the usual competitors Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo duking it out on the show floor... er, well, mostly Sony and Microsoft slapfighting with eachother while Nintendo finds a secluded corner to hawk their usual IPs over Nintendo Direct.

Meanwhile Steam seems to be making moves with it's own tv box, and virtual reality is making its first big comeback since the Virtual Boy.

Who knows what could happen, though?

The only thing I was waiting for on E3 was gameplay of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Here it is. I refurbished my old Call Of Duty thread to fit this discussios as well.
I won't make any conclusions about the game yet, but I don't know, the very first thing that came up in my mind is that the graphics were really nice. The second thing however, was "This looks appalling."
Yeah, the gameplay is really boring and slow, the voice acting, for the love of Christ almighty I'm hoping is not final, and the guns simply don't look cool, in my honest opinion. But who cares about my opinion here, especially on a game that hasn't been released yet.

I know how you feel... But i was enjoying playing pso2jpn during closed/open beta. And when they announced west, i wuit cold turkey because i didnt want to invest on jpn so much that id be reluctant to lose it all when i moved to west, or get IP banned, or reauire customer support if i decided to buy premium content, etc...

But yeah i quit cold turkey for pso2 west, which never came... I DIDNT EANT TO QUIT FOR NOTHING!! *cries bitterly*

now forever immortalized
::)

As usual I'm most interested in Nintendo and Sony's conference, with a side order of tomorrow afternoon's Live Letter from E3 for Final Fantasy XIV where he should finally be talking to us straight up about the new classes and shit because every time someone's asked he's been like "E3, Please look forward to it."

Ubisoft might announce something nifty.  Maybe.

Man, twitch just doesn't want to work, in general. Any alternatives? The EA stream is basically twitch.

Gamespot stream works really well, only have had some really minor trouble so far, probably better then everything else.

All the games have LOOKED great but I don't think I'll be getting any of them until a few weeks after they come out, just so I don't waste money on buggy / extremely flawed games.

I dunno, I actually like Ubisoft's host.

The game developpers are pretty typically NA developpers needing to be up on stage, but the main host herself is charismatic.

EDIT: Valiant Hearts more like this game will probably make me cry and that's why I want it.
