it was even worse before so i toned it down so at least the bullet density isn't the worst part

i'm sure there's some secret safespot somewhere

i didnt think anyone would actually see this because even if you just shoot every boss down without trying to dodge anything you can clear in 30 deaths :derp:

sanae does eat a ton of lives if you start fumbling up, but she has such low life that if you just sit there and shoot her you'll take her out with only 4 deaths :V

Holy crap you people, 23 entries. This is unprecedented serious affair. No really, we've never had this big of an outcome, really fantastic everyone.

I have some judges prepared and am waiting on possible others; I'm trying for four. Due to the sheer number of entries, I wouldn't expect the results before a week from now.


What I do have in mind for some time within the next few days, is that I'm going to prepare all of the scripts and stream my first impressions. I'll make an announcement here and in the HME streaming thread (+twitter, etc), so keep your eyes peeled.

If I am not mistaking, we've set a new record for submissions. Contest #3 was most likely 22 submissions if I didn't count wrong, making Contest #10 win this by 1 submission.  Well done every one.

One more thing I should mention. I run a Let's Play channel on youtube and do (or used to do before computer died) Let's Play Danmakufu, a series that shows off Danmakufu scripts. It's going to to take a while, but how would you all feel about me doing a Let's Play of ALL the entries?

Not intending to alienate anyone, but I would expect that to be pretty boring and it would make it hard to find the better entries, if you actually go through every single one. Going through the top ten or picking out particular ones sounds like a better idea for something like that.

Given the high volume of entries, you may be right. Traditionally, I've done Danmakufu contests with no more than 6 entries, where it was easy to cover all of the entries. I'll put some thought into it. I may just end up putting more than one in one video. What do the rest of you think?
