Title: 東方 guitar tabs: Let's rock!
Post by: Helepolis on May 15, 2009, 07:13:47 PM
This thread is meant to collect and list guitar tabular of Touhou theme songs. If you have self-tabbed files or found tabs on the internet, post them here and I will try to maintain the opening post.

First tab sounds good man, pretty fun to play.  Any chance we'll see Yukari's theme down the line?

I made a small start with Necrofantasia but didn't yet seriously work on it. Depends on my time. And Necrofantasia is quite hard to play as far as I heared.

I can play an extremely simplified U.N. Owen. That's about it.

UN Owen? That I would like to see/hear Drake. Got a video/sound file =) ?  UN Owen is like way out of my league currently. I think Necrofantasia would be easier to play because it is not that fast paced.

Added Remilia's theme aswell which is far more complete that the other ones. Except for the last improvised part which is like hell. But it sounds pretty complete to my ear.

Next following ups would be Kanako's (Suwa foughten field) and Yukari's theme (Necrofantasia) when I got the time and inspiration. I'll probably work on Kanako first as I have been multiple times have been practising it so easier to write in Guitar Pro.

I made a gp4 tab for U.N. Owen Was Her? some time ago. Well, actually is not intended to be used as a tab, but as a midi file. I can upload it if you want.

Also, I learned by ear most of Th10.5's Tengu Troublees - Dancing Water Spray; I could tab it if you want, too.

As stated in first post: If you got your own written tabs or found something on the internet, feel free to post. I'll update them in the first post.

And midi can be reversed into tab with Gp4/5 right?

You are my new waifu. Thank you

I've been working on tabbing touhou songs for quite a while myself (I am not a good musician) and I have to say that the songs aren't that hard to tab. Instead of just using Helepoli's tabs right away, TRY TO LEARN THEM YOURSELF. The melody in them is really good practise for learning playing by ear. Just use the tabs to get some tips.

Yep, that's what I do when I need the tabs. Just load the original midis from the games and voil?.

U.N. Owen Was Her? midi file (http://www.4shared.com/file/106867824/65c2393e/UN_Owen_Was_Her_-_Sax__Final_Version.html)

It is quite long because of the looping effect... so, well that's it.

I don't mind as long as it stays in one place.

@Sax, I cannot seem to import it in Gp5, somehow it freezes. Must be due to the lenght being 105minutes. I'll try to cut it down with some program and retry. Failed =S Audacity won't let me cut/delete.

i tried my best to be as close to the original as possible..

this is nitori's theme, for the classical guitar. it's pretty hard to play though, at least it was for me

flurk that sounds pretty good, also your notation is complete unlike mine which only focus on the tabular. Though I cannot play fingerstyle therefor this song is impossible for me to play proper. I'll try to play it normally though on the guitar. Added to first post.

I gave up on Yukari's theme because the original one is bit dull to play for my taste and also extreme hard to figure (sorry Drywall =S). I was working on Sanae's theme which I almost figured out. Will probably tab it tommorow.

PS: I discovered error in Kanako's theme at the "outro" section, second note of the first four should be fred #15 on the 3rd string. I'll update that aswell later on.

Edit: Sanae's theme added + Kanako fixed \o/  EVERYTHING IS FOR FAITH!

Post by: Helepolis on May 31, 2009, 12:34:42 PM
I wish I could play fingerstyle, though going to practise that when I buy myself an acoustic guitar.

Yesterday I have been busy trying to figure out Kanako's opening intro, I think I found the correct notes for them but requires practise++ because the theme has 165 BPM and my fingers don't move that fast for the intro.

Also here is a youtube clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbApL5s6HW0&fmt=18) of me attempting Sanae's version (simplified)

I think the next song I am going to tab is Komachi's theme from PoFV. I wanted to do Shikeiki first but that one was complicated at first hearing. Ofcourse also finish Kanako's theme.

[edit:]
Komachi's theme added \o/ I also pretty much master it on the guitar, will probably try to practise more and show it. Don't know excactly.

Now I am wonder whoms theme I should add/practise next =|

Ah, Cirno?s theme. I listened to it and sounds pretty on spot. I?ll probably have to listen with it along the original soundtrack. Did you btw based it on EoSD or PoFV version? So I can tag it correctly.

About any further tabs, I have been extremely busy with school and private life which resulted in slacking off in tabbing more Touhou themes. But, last two days I managed to pickup my guitar again.

Currently working on: Rin's theme (SA) and Ancient temple (Youmu's stage PCB). I'll probably tab Youmu's stage first as that one is almost figured out. Rin's theme however is slightly more annoying, especially the end of the song.

It is different, yes.

Like Mystia's theme, it's pretty different between PoFV ver and IN version.

I learned by ear the main notes of Mokou's Theme in Guitar; the only thing left is the mega-sweep with celesta... uhm...

Youmu's stage - Ancient temple added. Took too long =.= as I decided to write down the correct notes to make it playable instead of the lame previous tabbing. Though there are perhaps minor mistakes such as incorrect note lenght or missing pauses. Overal it should sound similar.

I won't be tabbing Orin's theme like this as it consumes too much time for me =S

Edit:
Playing Kanako's theme made me discover there was ANOTHER mistake in there. The last part of the song is totally wrong fretting. Re-edited and uploaded as v2 now.

Lunatic Princess (http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/4/732624/Lunatic%20Princess.gp5). i turned it into guitar pro format.

for bars 10 and 11 and their repeats, the original sheet says it's played

----------0------------------0-----------
---0---0---0----0------0---------0------
-----2--------2------5----5----5---5----
-2-----------------2---------------------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------

but i'm bad at that fancy right hand pattern (it gets really confusing when you enter bar 14),
so i changed it in the gp file to make it more RH-friendly (though as a result it really punishes the left hand)

have fun learning it! if my nitori theme was normal mode, this one is lunatic.
i'm still VERY bad at the fast parts at the beginning and toward the end. difficult song is difficult.

It is not really guitar friendly I noticed as majority of the time you are playing on 1 string also misses like the "pre-chorus" in the middle of the song plus some parts make no sense.

Will you accept arrangements for other instruments?
It wouldn't be a guitar thread anymore then would it? I think there was a thread somewhere for general music for any instrument.

I think I'm hoping against hope here, but hear me out. While I don't play guitar my brother does, and while I enjoy the Touhou series, my brother condemns it. I recently had the idea to plant a touhou tabular sheet in his stuff and see if he takes to it. The problem is that tabular sheets aren't common, and I need to be careful about which song is planted. Anyone want to help with spreading Touhou music through the air?

Besides that though, great work with the music compilations.

I always thought it was quite easy to play, but maybe thats just me because thats the way I learnt it. In what ways could I improve it without removing some of the harmonies? (Such as at the beginning.) As I don't really write stuff for other people to play much. Also I have a large amount of sheet music that I could give you if you wanted it, incase you are getting stuck figuring out some things. (Its all for piano though which is a pain.)

@ Mr_bob, maybe time to pick up a guitar aswell? It is never bad to try it.

Mainly I focus my tabular on lead electric guitars. So the rythm guitars are missing, that is why I don't pay much attention to harmonic notes. Unless you ofcourse want to write a tabsheet for an acoustic guitar.

On topic:
Maybe I should stop slacking off and finish Rin's theme. Though the last part of her theme either requires going up real high on the scale or drop it one octave and continue it. Depends on what sounds better, need to figure out this week.

Those are nice finds! I should really start practising fingerstyle, as that song on youtube should be relative playable with that tempo. Though I seriously need to get my hands on an acoustic guitar aswell.

Bob, though it is called 'Night of nights' or more like 'Flowering Night' from the original PoFV. The tab you found is a remix which sounds pretty good which reminds me of the version Souryu plays. However somehow Guitarpro is acting bitchy and skipping over some parts making it sound weird on the playback.

I will update all three findings on first page hopefully soon.

Edit: First page updated.

Interesting find. I was about half way done with mine, and noticed how wrong most of my notes were. Suprisingly, lots of stuff was also correct, so I am very proud of myself.

i also stumbled across a rar of a bunch of tabs at another forum

unfortunately the only two files contained in that rar are pdfs and ptbs  i dont have any of those fancy guitar programs so i cant open those guitar tab files, was also wondering if anyone would be kind enough to post some pdfs or text pad version of these

@Gekko: could you upload a .gp4 ver? Seems my gp5 can't open it. Must be the GP version.

He did post it just after my Cirno one.

I need to get my eyes checked =S

Edit: Rin's theme finally added =.= Though the last part is like for me impossible to figure (yes I am somehow being lazy but even if I listen to it 50x I cannot figure it out swiftly. There are too many note jumps like skipping strings. Anyway the first part sounds the sweetest so Nya~

hmm im having problems open the owen was her file, along with the lunatic princess one, i was wondering if anyone would post a .pdf or a .txt version of those two, would be very appreciated

i also stumbled across a rar of a bunch of tabs at another forum

http://rapidshare.com/files/135889334/Touhou_Tabs.rar

unfortunately the only two files contained in that rar are pdfs and ptbs  i dont have any of those fancy guitar programs so i cant open those guitar tab files, was also wondering if anyone would be kind enough to post some pdfs or text pad version of these

enjoy

for some reason i can't open those .ptbs either.

The .ptb files are not broken. PTB cannot read unicode, you have to rename the files to something without any non-english characters.

Oh it has been a long while since I updated this thread. That is mainly because I have been practising fingerstyle on the guitar as well. Dropping fully the "electric" practising. But didn't fully ignore the touhou themes.

With the release of UFO few weeks ago, I guess I will be trying to tackle a few songs ( which I have been doing with Kogasa's, Murasa's, Byakuren's and Ichirin's theme ).

I will be also updating Yuyuko's theme the missing part.

Indeed! Fingerstyle is very fun to play. But takes alot of effort and practise. I just started with it for like three weeks, cannot really play songs yet =3 But I will try out the fingerstyle songs for sure soon ( if I only knew how to place my fingers properly )

However, focussing on fingerstyle does suffers my regular play for Touhou themes. I was suddenly unable to play the most easiest theme of them all: "Faith is for the transient"  I felt like an idiot. Perhaps I should split my training sessions with fingerstyle + regular practise.

:P too bad i'm not a fan of flowering night. anyway,

Septette for the Dead Princess (http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/4/732624/Septette%20for%20the%20Dead%20Princess.gp5) for solo classical guitar.
I turned his .pdf into .gp5. Watch the fucking wizard play here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9385b-cZsE) It's the same guy who played the classical guitar solo of Flight of the Bamboo Cutter ~ Lunatic Princess i posted earlier on this thread.

It is DIFFICULT. on his website, he rated Septette as "Hard" and Lunatic Princess as "Lunatic". I think it Septette should be "Lunatic" as well. This one will keep me occupied for a good long time D:

I wrote him a PM to thank him for sharing his stuff, but he hasn't replied yet ):

nope,
(http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/4/732624/Untitled.jpg)

i listened to the original and it actually sounds like what you said. it doesn't sound out of place though, just not what ZUN wrote. imo it'd sound much better when played as a repeat or a harmonised part.

well done!

EDIT: i might reupload that file some time in the future though, i may misinterpret or disagree with his fingering instructions on some parts. (like how i altered the fingering in bars 10-17 in lunatic princess to make it 30% easier, otherwise i still won't be able to play it well)

oh and the original author is satommy from Kyoto.

and i bet you guys will squeal in fangirlism at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjCjBE0oNXU
i haven't attempted to play it yet, as it's near impossible to thumb-fret on a classical guitar (pfft thin acoustic guitar necks) and i don't have a capo T_T

The finger on that video you showed ( on previous page ) looks really weird and unlogical. Also, you didn't use a Capo like he did in his video. So you reconverted all notes from 2nd capo fret to no-capo mode? (how long did that took you! :o)

uh no. the tab is relative to the capo. notice in that little cutlet in my last post is exactly the same as the one in your post.
i didn't change anything, he wrote it like that.

and it's capo on the 3rd fret.

well i'd say it's impossible to play properly without the capo. mad stretches and all.

i just came home with my new capo :D and i must whine about this: having no cutaway is quite the pain. for example the Barred Em chord at bar 55. with the capo it's 3 10 12 12 11 10

I am now terribly confused =S in your gp5 arrangement, do I have to place a capo? Because you didn't include it in your gp5 file. A capo placement.

And I have seen that Iamp song weeks ago, was one of the reason to suddenly try fingerstyle.

yes, play it with a capo.

i re-uploaded it with "capo on 3rd fret", a few fingering changes and more guidance on left hand fingering. the URL is exactly the same as the old upload so there's no need to change the first post again.

i'm probably gonna make more changes as i work on it more. bar 33 is @.@-ing

It works indeed.

I tried to play it a little and it is quite diffcult just positioning your fingers properly. Btw, also the capo being on the 3rd fret is bit weird. As I always thought ( and heard by listening to the original theme ) that placing it on the 2nd fret will allow you to play on the same pitch and tone height as the original theme.

i re-uploaded it again, using the same url again.

i fixed a stupid mistake with fingering at the end, and added a little more guidance.

i can play it properly now except for the solo at the end >_>

IOSYS - Special Ability for Two People to Sneak Out Into the Moonlit Night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAkMSseDyPI) basically consists of the following two chord progressions:

intro chorus and stuff:
Ebmaj7  x98666
Fm7       x8686x
Gbm7    68666x
Fm7       x8686x

Verses:
Ebmaj7  x98666

and somewhere in the song it gets transposed up half a step.
:D and now to be able to sing it while playing. lyrics can be found at touhou wiki

Sorry if this counts as a necro, but I love music so this thread caught my interest.

I'm still very much a novice at guitar, so I don't know how much, if at all, I could help, but to actually contribute something that I found in like 30 seconds of Google Search:
U.N. Owen Was Her? (http://www.gametabs.net/files/user/Cyd/unowentab2.txt)

Honestly the way it's written it's Greek to me, but luckily there's also a Piano Score (pdf) (http://www.gametabs.net/files/user/Jacob31593/U.N._Owen_was_her.pdf) to help translate.

I can read sheet music pretty well, even if I can't play it, so I could eventually save up and buy Guitar Pro and work on this slowly myself if you want. Or, if there's anything else I can do to help (i.e. search for more), I'll be willing to help any way I can.

Or, you know, I could just shut up, whatever works.

EDIT: Also any possible way of getting a sound-file (any quality) of that Komachi score? The fact it's written in 4/4 when the original is 3/4 feels weird, and I just wish to make sure it's just all in my head.
Title: Re: Touhou guitar tabs: Let's rock! [Latest update: Remilia + Patchy] SDM!
Post by: Helepolis on November 24, 2009, 10:57:16 AM
I already said in my first post that not all posted tabular might have proper tempo / notation. It is obviously written in 4/4 because I didn't bother in tabbing it correctly. It is hard to do for a non-musician and find a suitable tempo for it all.

Also I need to redo all tabular done by me because most of them aren't 100% correct or complete. Generally I have no motivation ( yet ).

And what do you mean with 'sound-file' ? If you mean the original song from ZUN, we cannot tell you that. It falls under piracy policy. Or isn't that what you want.

Post by: Silent Harmony on November 25, 2009, 01:38:49 AM
Sorry for the confusion, I guess I read as poorly as I play. =(

By "sound file" what I was meant to ask was a recording (like of the intro) just to hear how the tab was supposed to sound. I could get the original song on Youtube easily enough, but it didn't fit at the time. That's no longer needed as I realize what was wrong. I was taught to take sheet music very literally, so I had a hard time realizing that you simply wrote the notes and not the...rhythm? (can't think of the term, basically Whole Notes/ Half Notes/ Quarter Notes/ ect...someone out there knows what I mean)

That being said, once I listened to the song several more times and played the tab the best I could, it definitely fits into place. I apologize. Actually, I'm envious too, since I can't play from ear at all, so getting the notation down is pretty amazing on your part.

Carry on.

Post by: Helepolis on November 25, 2009, 12:19:33 PM
I think you got confused with the music notation. The thing with guitar tabular is that normally you don't see the music notes at all. Because guitar tabular is written to show which notes are played on what string. This is a huge handicap when you don't have music notations because you don't know what kind of note it is, ie: Whole note, half note etc etc. It just happens that Guitar pro can show both.

My uploaded stuff is based on this. It just shows what you need to play, not on how to play. The trick ( and in my opinion more fun ) is to load up the mp3 / original music file and try to figure out yourself how to play. That is actually the most fun part of learning the guitar in my opinion, by ear ( which is also very important actually somehow )

If you take other uploads where generally 'finger style' is shown, those are written in correct notation and tabs as well. All my tabs are not. My priority currently is school therefor I don't spend time on this lately. Hopefull once I graduate I can try to get some work done.

or in short, your tabs ignore the time values of notes.
also, you forgot to include kaguya's theme at the first post. and the author of the sheets for both lunatic princess and septette is satommy from kyoto.
Title: Re: Touhou guitar tabs: Let's rock! [Latest update: Remilia + Patchy] SDM!
Post by: Helepolis on November 28, 2009, 12:12:05 PM
Tabular is nothing else then numbers being displayed on lines which represent the strings: Low e, a, d, g, b and high e. It never had a tempo noting or any values of notes. But because some people have more knowledge and time, they add the correct notation in Guitar pro alike programs.

About Kaguya's theme, I'll see into it in a moment and update the missing info.
Title: Re: Touhou guitar tabs: Let's rock! [Latest update: Remilia + Patchy] SDM!
Post by: Helepolis on November 29, 2009, 01:00:31 PM
added missing info + modified entire list view. I removed the GP5/txt or w/e indication as people can simply see it when they download it. It makes the list look chaotic.

lead style indicates main melody being played generally and finger style, well - do I have to explain? Also any part that is incorrect or incomplete is tagged 'incomplete'.

Took way way way too long, and yes I cheated with a piano score at parts. I'm still very new to listening by ear. >_<

Anyways, it's really a simple lead-style arrange, no chords or anything like that. Glad to finally have it finished.

Any critique and criticism is welcome and accepted.

Well, nobody has told me to stop (well, nobody has said anything  :-\) so onwards we go!

The Gensokyo the Gods Loved- Neutral2 Arrange (Simplified) (http://www.mediafire.com/?hmennyywecz)

Based on this arrange (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8dPOJRK2l4), it's simple because I'm still new on Guitar and my ability to hear still needs work. I actually started this a long time before my Eternal Shrine Maiden tab, it just took this long to finish. *sigh*

I actually transposed the 2nd (main) melody up an octave for 2 reasons.

1) It sounds better imo
2) The jump done in the video is horrid. :V

I hope you enjoy. Feel free to PM, as any comments or criticism would be appreciated.

Oh how I ignored this thread for a while now. That is what you get for setting Danmakufu a higher priority than guitar playing. I should start updating again this thread.

I'll take your posts to first post Marislayer, thanks for your contribution. (I'll play them myself ( or try to ) when I feel like it soon )

Edit: Also where should I put your HRtP version. I haven't played PC-98 games vastly to catagorise them? Should I make a new header?

(Sleepy)

My pleasure, Helepolis. Actually I intentionally avoided bugging you again because I knew you had a lot on your plate (school, DMF, lack of motivation, etc), so it was a pleasant surprise.

Don't feel like you have to check on this thread too often. I mostly do this because I need to practice my guitar more, and this gives me an excuse to do so without it feeling like "practice." That and it feels like the only way I can give back to MotK.    :D

As for PC-98 themes, for now I say put them in the Misc header. There's other songs I'd love to do, but lack of experience + chipset sound makes it extremely hard to get them down. Don't expect too many too often.

I'm probably forgetting something, but I'll just send a PM in the morning if that's case. Sleep now.

Well you could have send me a PM to bring it up to my attention. Just because I have a busy lifestyle doesn't mean I ignore my PMs :V

And lack of motivation isn't probably the right word for me, it is matter of inspiration. Sometimes I get strongly inspired to play music and other times to build danmakufu ( Yes, danmakufu takes inspiration to make good spellcards and such ). I need to redo all my own tabs because they either changed or became "better". Though the timing of the notes is something that puts me down due to lack of knowledge but we'll see.

I'll put it under Misc then.

And I screwed up on reading the OP, didn't realize what I thought was "Misc" was actually for non-original themes. Oops. But go ahead and leave it as is, it works better than my idea. :V

Venerable Ancient Battlefield ~ Suwa Foughten Field (http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/4/732624/Venerable%20Ancient%20Battlefield%20%7E%20Suwa%20Foughten%20Field.gp5) for the lead guitar. I'm not sure it's 100% right though.

and such a shame it is that the proper kickassery of this song can't be played with just one guitar. sigh.

Almost all MoF and beyond tracks have many distortion guitars in them which makes them indeed bit dull when played all alone.

Also Suki-gin has found an excellent tabs for Faith for the Transient and Tiny Tiny clever commander, with full rythm guitars as well. But they are way high fretted so I am changing the tabs for Sanae's theme then will make an update round.

Edit:

Added both tabs to the list. I did some extreme adjustments on Sanae's theme though. I don't have a 24th on my guitar :V and the 23th one doesn't even sound as it has no fret at all. So renoted them all down to the original pitch and tone. Also changed certain fingering positions as the one in the original were pretty awkward to play sometimes.

Also modified the power chords as the 9-7 is suppose to be 6-4 in the opening and verse.

Almost all MoF and beyond tracks have many distortion guitars in them which makes them indeed bit dull when played all alone.

Get a recording program like Reaper

http://www.reaper.fm/

the evaulation goes on forever, you just have to wait for the button to appear to close the popup. Just set up a mic or line in and record all the guitar tracks then mute and play as you please. Get a drum vsti and bass vsti and program some bass and drums to jam along also.

There is some good stuff in this thread and I've been wanting to contribute but lately I've been too busy with a few bands >_<. To top things off I think i'm picking up the promoter torch in my small town as the last couple of weeks I threw a show together and joined a new band. That almost killed me staying up 20 hrs at a time trying to organize and learn a new set within a short time >_>. Anyhow that's over with so maybe I can sit down to try tabbing something out though in my case there will most likely be multiple guitars as I'm used to having backing so . .sorry :P

ps. if I disappear that means something came up again -_-;;

pss. good job everyone that has done something so far. It can take a big chunk of time.

Hey guys :)

So I made an electric guitar tab for the main trumpet melody in PoFV's Wind God Girl, complete with tempo changes to keep it in sync.

It's a fun little song to play. Fairly easy for me, and I just started playing 2 months ago. Except for the intro, which I saved for last and actually ended up almost entirely copying off of a piano score instead of doing by ear.

both are powertab

I'm relatively new to the touhou universe, but my friend gave me a game, and I really like some of the music in touhou. I do not own a legitimate copy of any of the games, and cant get any of the music files. If I can get info on where to get the music, ill try my best to tab it out. thanks

I may not be the best judge, but it seems spot on to me.
Drop Bb tuning though!
Touhou arranges, bringing death metal tunings to silly, happy songs since... well, whenever.  :V

Also, and this may be old news, but of interest to general touhou tabbing and even arranging, if you look around you can very easily find midi files for every song from EoSD, PCB, and IN, and in some cases, others. I've even found some sort of midi for nuclear fusion. This in addition to the piano scores that are out there give you ample shortcuts when tabbing :)

Noticed that afterwards, but I don't mind. I like to play the Bb power chords like in the tab anyways.
If you'd want a tab in Bb, I can remake it.

Nah, I'm always adjusting tabs or playing in the wrong tuning, easy enough :) I think gp5 sorta does it for you actually.
Besides, the rhythm part definitely is best in drop and the other parts don't use the low string.
The real trick is I've only got 10's so what I'm currently using (standard down 3 semitones) is about as low as I'm willing to go  :D

Yukari's theme, Bar 46 and 54, afaik heard from the original theme  12 needs to be 15 on the 1st string. About the interlude I don't know yet. Tinytiny clever commander I need to check on the notes, think also the bpm is too slow but  that makes two tabs for them now, if I upload the one I found thanks to Suki.

Some interesting variations there on septette and outro is indeed "Ha ha, old chap!". Need to tally up list and update first post.

Edit, also did you tabbed them fully yourself ? So I can add the correct info behind the tab.

Post by: miracle★cookie on May 15, 2010, 07:48:04 AM
Yeah Yukari's...it's pretty hard to tell from the original 'cause of all the harmonies going on.
Nazrin's theme probably needs to be faster, I think I was thinking of the re-arranged version of it done by Frontier Create, which is definitely slower.
And yes I did tab them myself, I practically learned Necrofantasia by tabbing it haha.

Lastly is there any request for specific tracks to be tabbed? It probably give me a better idea on what to work on (currently working on Reisen's).

Parsee's theme is super awesome and underrated :) Nice work on the harmony parts, they're so crucial to the song.

Also omg Greenwich and the sky is awesome on guitar!! I feel like I haven't seen many arranges of it despite this fact? I guess it's not super popular since it's not from one of the games.

I've got an almost complete tab of mysterious mountain btw, just need to finish 1 part of the rhythm that I've been putting off and make the pdfs and stuff. I also realized I can play ghostly eyes, but when I tried to play along with the soundtrack version I realized how slow the original is  :(  I might make a tab of that anyway.

I found these a while back when I was trying to find some Tabs for my friend. I have...

(PoFV) Sakuya Izayoi's Theme - Flowering Night "http://www.mediafire.com/?b7bv5d88bi9z4a3" (It's the original, or so I've been told, I don't have the right program to open it with so I'm not 100% sure.)

(MoF) Hina Kagiyama's Theme - The Dark Side of Fate "http://www.mediafire.com/?wb446n29h1uh0rm"

(MoF) Suwako Moriya's Theme - Native Faith "http://www.mediafire.com/?7n4asgslcq9z46b"

(SA) Last Remote - Extra Stage Theme "http://www.mediafire.com/?i9pddupkdd7tckc"

These are the only one's I didn't see in the first post.

well I thought I'd redo some of my old tabs, especially Remilia's, considering how popular it is and how dodgy my tab was.

and so...I ended up with this somehow, it's an arrange by Demetori on their Sendaisoushi ~ Offering to The Sukhavati album,

Septette for the Dead Princess ~ Ascending Into Naught - Remilia Scarlet's theme, arranged by Demetori (lead + rhythm)
http://www.mediafire.com/?t24ba6jf0hi3qjd
^ fixed the problem with the second (ZUN's) solo slightly out of sync in the old tab.

I've taken down the old Septette tab, so yeah, use this, cuz it's Demetori  ;)

think i'm getting sidetracked but here's another one of Demetori's arranges,

The Capital City of Flowers in the Sky ~ Bridge of the Lotus - Perfect Cherry Blossom Stage 4 theme, arranged by Demetori
http://www.mediafire.com/?7qc8p97e8rgqizn
* added clean guitar during the second half of the solo

was listening to Demetori's arrange of Satori's theme to get some ideas but D= ended up tabbing this  :V

anyways, have fun  :)

Well, I have no problem with Demetori tabs. I love Demetori :) The septette tab was really awesome, reminded me how great that song is. The chord right before the first solo!

Also, bridge of the lotus! I've been playing the original song lately to try out my new midi footcontroller. Yay wah. Despite the Demetori version of bridge of the lotus being sooo different from the original, they both manage to give me goosebumps, go figure :)

Eh eh as promised and with much delay, here's Satori's theme,

Satori Maiden ~ 3rd Eye - Subterranean Animism Stage 4 Boss Satori Komeiji's theme (lead + rhythm)
http://www.mediafire.com/?kn4gb7ubz6xjc7l

and something before i vanish again,

Doll Judgment ~ The Girl who Played with People's Shapes - Perfect Cherry Blossom Stage 3 Boss Alice Margatroid's theme (lead + rhythm)
http://www.mediafire.com/?v77hwu9x9vixc93
^ weird how this ended up. you can hear elements of xi~on's arrange here and there, and while it starts in a minor key, it ends in a more upbeat tone. perhaps the characters are really relaxed despite the intensity of the fight.

k that didnt last long. mostly cuz i messed up and had to fix a couple of things,

Updates:
Emotional Skyscraper ~ Cosmic Mind - Undefined Fantastic Object Stage 6 Boss Byakuren Hijiri's theme (lead + rhythm)
http://www.mediafire.com/?ysii8q5sju10ccq
* fixed some finger positions. rhythm guitar during the bridge section is now different (but not too different)

U.N. Owen Was Her? - the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil Extra Stage Boss Flandre Scarlet's theme (lead + rhythm)
http://www.mediafire.com/?79ns9c8wsjq564w
* added an alternative method to play the interlude, if anyone found the tapping pointless; a minor change to the rhythm during chorus

and...

Homicide Moon - Sakuya Izayoi's EoSD theme (Lunar Clock ~ Luna Dial), arranged by minami@IOSYS

http://www.mediafire.com/?dql9jj90cdoupjv

a personal favourite arrange of Lunar Clock ~ Luna Dial, from minami(IOSYS)'s 東方JeuXinTerdiTs.
amazing how little time it took to tab this one.
i swear it had nothing to do with my...i mean Sakuya's time-haxing ability.
...well, you can't let yourself be trapped by common sense, right?

[Embodiment of Scarlet Devil]
Remilia 2 - http://www.mediafire.com/?ymwnjontjoc * DEADLINK
Flandre - http://www.mediafire.com/?2ttrtdnznxz * DEAD LINK

[Undefined Fantastic Object]
Byakuren - http://www.mediafire.com/?mykjy3wz5ak * DEAD LINK

probably minor issue but shouldnt these two be under the Other category? since both are arranges
[Embodiment of Scarlet Devil]
Sakuya - http://www.mediafire.com/?dql9jj90cdoupjv * Homicide Moon by minami@IOSYS
Remilia 3 - http://www.mediafire.com/?t24ba6jf0hi3qjd * Demetori

this one...
[Other]

Greenwich in the Sky - the second track off Magical Astronomy

um its not really an arrangement but probably go under Other anyway, unless you want to make a category for ZUN's music CD's.

[Undefined Fantastic Object]
Byakuren - http://www.mediafire.com/?mykjy3wz5ak * DEAD
master spark it into oblivion

and i overlooked this one, it should be under Other,
[Perfect Cherry Blossom]
Prismriver sisters stage - http://www.mediafire.com/?7qc8p97e8rgqizn * Demetori

edit: not sure if its just me but the url for this one,
[Mountain of Faith]

Bell of Avici ~ Infinite Nightmare - Double Spoiler Photo Theme 4 (Lead + Rhythm)

Heian Alien - Undefined Fantastic Object Extra Stage Boss Nue Houjuu's Theme (Lead + Rhythm)

http://www.mediafire.com/?2shr0warcb2b7fc
^ not much to say except for the added harmony in the bridge bit. dont recall ZUN doubling it up in the original but i thought it was fun so i left it in there  :3

Mystic Oriental Love Consultation - Reimu Hakurei's Theme from Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (Lead + Rhythm)

Hello.
Before I jump to my request I would like to say a few words.
I've been playing touhou and introducing myself in this 'culture' already for a year and, I wil be honest, the thing which tempted me most is the ZUN's music and other bands like Demetori etc. Since I've discovered it, I always looked for tabs... unfortunitely without success... untill today!
This forum, you guys are like a bright ray of light after so many months of trying to find any Tabs. I do really admire your work and I am very grateful for every piece of tabs which you've uploaded so far ! Yet there are some songs which I really like and I haven't seen uploaded here (maybe I've just omitted them accidentaly in tons of awesomeness here) nor anywhere else. So if I could dare to ask you for a little favour for me, could to provide me with following tittles :

The Road of the Apotropaic God ~ Dark Road (exactly the Xi-On's arrange like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiYUyFIGpFk)
A God that Loves People ~ Romantic Fall (exactly Silver Forest artist like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-9K9wazg3w)

There are some more songs which I'd like to ask for... but I am just a bad leecher :(. Even if you will not be able to fulfil my request I will be still regulary checking this thread :D
Thanks for EVERYTHING YOU ARE SIMPLY AMAZING !

Hei.

Hehe, I am a big music nerd. I easily buy a couple albums per month, but Demetori is maybe the most listened to artist for me last year, srs

Have you thought about trying to tab one those songs out? You don't have to if you don't want to, ofc :) But it's a really good exercise. I think Romantic fall starts out in Eb, but part around 0:49 is in C...
Title: Re: 東方 guitar tabs: Let's rock!
Post by: miracle★cookie on March 01, 2011, 11:26:40 AM
aha, dark road, one of the very first xi-on tracks ive heard, fai has come a long way since the first spell. last couple of albums was a little less inspired compared with earlier ones imo, but the new album sounds pretty good
crossfade always lies tho
, cant wait for reitaisai 8

uh on topic, that Silver Forest remix...sounds pretty straightforward alright. i dont think its based in D#/Eb, sounds more like B major (or rather Ab minor). the opening chords were B5, C#5 and D#5, and when the main theme comes in, pretty sure its a B which very briefly goes into D. major to minor, if you like.

something like dis:
Code: [Select]
e-------------------------|-------------------------------|
B-------------------11----|--12---11----------------------|
G---------------13--------|------------13--13---11---13~--|
D--13--------L------------|-------------------------------|
A-------------------------|-------------------------------|
E-------------------------|-------------------------------|

--------------------------|--11--------------------------|
------------------11--12--|-------14---12--11------------|
--L-----------13----------|---------------------11-------|
--------------------------|--------------------------11--|
--------------------------|------------------------------|
--------------------------|------------------------------|

--------------------------|------------------------------|
--------------------------|------------------------------|
--------------------------|--------------------------14--|
--13~--------L------------|-------11---12--11---12-------|
----------------11--13----|--14--------------------------|
--------------------------|------------------------------|

--------------------------|------------------------------|---------------------|
--------------------------|------------11----------------|--11~----------------|
--11~--------L------10----|--11---13-------10---11---13--|---------------------|
----------------13--------|------------------------------|---------------------|
--------------------------|------------------------------|---------------------|
--------------------------|------------------------------|---------------------|

haha codes...B to D in bar 6. the pre-chorus and chorus (dark road) is in Ab major i believe

uh well  :V

what does xi-on play in, drop C? i can't tab anything lower than drop d (i cursed crow'sclaw to hell for their gut-busting dropped B) because mister floyd rose just had to be in the way.

i'll give tabbing that a shot this weekend, but please don't keep your fingers crossed.

As I said, I am grateful for any piece of Tabs :)
Unfortunitely I am too newbie to be able to do tabs by myself yet, that why you are my only hope here.
At this moment I got loads of tabs (touhou ofc) downloaded so I got material to learn :D
But if you could make a version for GP or Power Tab of my 'requested' songs it would be even better.
(Ofc. if it's not too great effort for you)

afaik xi-on stays in standard tuning, except for Mysterious Mountains on 7th spell which is in drop D (and possibly Dark Side of Fate on the 4th spell)

Anyone want to tab this out?

BTW, on the tab of Satellite XXX at the rhythm sweep part: Is the 8 and 11 on the A string better to practice with since it's basically the same as 3 and 6 respectively on the D string?

..for once i dont have much to rant about,

A God That Misses People ~ Romantic Fall - MoF Stage 1 Theme, Arranged by 彩音~xi-on~ (Lead + Rhythm)
http://www.mediafire.com/?hfx99oj75phzupg
^ phi doesnt actually do a straight sixteenth note run towards the end of the solo...so i dubbed it the 'cookie cutter run'~ feel free to take it from there
* edit: fixed the rhythm

the diminished run in Satellite XXX? play it however you like. tabs just a guide, and often there are many finer details i tend to overlook
and i should point out that it always bothered me how low the D sounded when Leda goes palm muting, not the kind of sound youd get out of a normal A string
ie, the guitar may not be in standard E tuning
so play it whichever way you feel most comfortable with. personally not too concerned whether it sounds exactly like original pieces or not

having said that, i play it like this
Code: [Select]
e|----------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------|
G|----------------------------------------|
D|-------3-3h6p3------------6-6h9p6-------|
A|-----5--------5p2-------8--------8p5----|
E|--4---------------4--7---------------7--|
cant remember what ingenious idea i had that made me tab it the way i did,
probably to mess with ppls heads

get them pinkies working

I find your way a lot better than in the tab.

Although, I still need to work on my right hand sweeping technique...

I just end up picking really really fast.
Title: Re: 東方 guitar tabs: Let's rock!
Post by: miracle★cookie on March 16, 2011, 01:06:12 PM
yeah sorry about that. if anyone ever found things that dont make much sense in the tabs, feel free to ask~
...or just ignore my nonsense and play how you think it should be played

anyways im no sweeping expert but its important to make sure you start slow and gradually work up your speed.
how long have you been playing anyway?
cuz you might find it more helpful by doing some simple sweeping exercises first, like some common 3-string arpeggio patterns
start slow and easy, build up your speed and accuracy,
move onto more complex patterns once you can do the basic ones with ease
then you will be able to play stuff like this,

sweeping intro of Shanghai Alice of Meiji 17 by UI-70/Demetori
http://www.mediafire.com/?98a6lgleo0i2ay2
^ just throwing it out there, forgot where i got the original pdf from, niconico probably

sweeping is not really about picking fast, but rather picking less and picking smoothly/cleanly/evenly
well thats how i feel about it anyway

no need to rush fufu, take it easy~

Would someone do "Green Grass Garden" by SYNC.ART'S for me?
I tried figuring it out myself but after the first verse I'm lost.

And "Midnight Skydive" by SOUND HOLIC.

Hi, I made a couple of tabs.
Here's a tab I made of A.Q.N. by Foreground Eclipse:

Moreover, I managed to tab out Green Grass Garden as requested , but the only part I could not figure out was the solo.

Lastly, I also made a tab of Skydive Midnight. Here, the only part I didn't tab was the lead guitar part during the last chorus, but I did tab the outro. The tuning is in Whole-step down.

Could someone tell me the tabs:

intro 0:10-0:30

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7EThSy0fXo&feature=feedf (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7EThSy0fXo&feature=feedf)
the intro uses 5 (power) chords - C5, C#5, G#5, F5 and A#5.
i think most of the song runs in the key of C minor so yeah, it goes something like this (at least how i play it)
Code: [Select]
e|-------------------|      e|-------------------|
B|-------------------|      B|-------------------|
G|-5555-5555-xx-6-6--|      G|-5555--------------|
D|-xxxx-5555-xx-x-x--|      D|-xxxx-55555555--6--|
A|-3333-3333-xx-4-4--|      A|-3333-33333333--4--|
E|-------------------|x3    E|-------------------|
                            PM-----|
then
e|---|    |---|     |---|     |---|
B|---|    |---|     |---|     |---|
G|-5-|     |---|     |---|     |-3-|
D|-5-|  to |-6-|  to |-3-|  to |-3-|
A|-3-|     |-6-|     |-3-|     |-1-|
E|---|xn   |-4-|xn   |-1-|xn   |---|xn
i made a video too which i think will make it easier to understand, check it out @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FscQ3e4uus

but yeah i have a lot of unfinished tabs lying around and im not sure if i can get back to tabbing
i probably just be uploading some videos every now and then, so stay tuned

keep your guitar clean

Hi everyone,

I've done a full tab for Mokou's Theme: Reach for the Moon, Immortal Smoke.
I tabbed it from the piano scores that I've found from the internet.
Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?ghit1ak025g7b1m

Tried it on the guitar, and well, I've failed so far.
Also, you need a guitar with a 25th fret on the first string.

I have a guitar tab for Keine's Theme: Plain Asia (surprised nobody had one yet) but I'm still cleaning up the tabs so I'll post when I'm done.

You should work on making it possible to play first.
Measure 7 is already impossible, it feels like that one kaguya tab but much worst.
The octave stretch is kind of annoying and difficult to play.

Maybe I'm just unskilled, but this is a little impractical on guitar.

Actually, you could just play the top note for the lead and bottom note for harmony.
But yeah, it looks a little messy and I'll clean it up.

I've been listening to Syrufit quite a lot, so I thought I'd make a tab of "Dream Bottom" from Where is Love. The song is in standard tuning. Also, the drums are probably not 100% correct, but I tried to make them as close as I could. I also made a typo in the tab; I wrote that measures 90-104 should be played with flanger. They should, however, be played with phaser :derp:. Unfortunately, I tried correcting the mistake but was unable to do so. Lastly, I believe measure 151 should be played with an open string bend, so just play the open E note and press down on the 6th string right above the nut. On a side note, Mei Ayakura's voice is one of the loveliest things I have ever heard.

Well, after referring to this thread multiple times when looking for Touhou-related tabs I feel compelled to post some of the ones I've done in return. I'll disclaim that by no means are any of them perfect. (and many will be missing / have botched solos as I play rhythm mostly msyelf) I don't tab music often and only have really done so on this occasion because of the distinct lack of Touhou guitar tabs I can find on the internet, but hopefully they will be of use to someone as I haven't really had a good place to post them until now.

Dark Phoenix - Faith is for the Transient People - Album : Flowers for Patchouli - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?72bxwqozm2sxiu4 (Edit: Bass possibly in progress once I get the time to do more than the opening riff)
Dark Phoenix - Emotional Skyscraper - Album: Sound 0 Phase 10 - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ngl78l23l2e4vk2
Dark Phoenix - Love-Colored Master Spark - Album: ShotShell I - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3c7szvwrlbp43ih (This one I did a long time ago so I make no claim to it's accuracy)
All Dark Phoenix songs are in drop D. (I will also note I have Dark Road from Witch Clocks figured out, but have yet to tab it if anyone is interested)

Demetori - Satori Maiden ~ Innumerable Eyes - Album: Manejushaka ~ Nada Upasana Pundarika - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?67ggbwh8m2sk3b7
Demetori - Higan Retour ~ View of The River Styx - Album : Manejushaka ~ Nada Upasana Pundarika - http://www.mediafire.com/?8y6aibdsgqdwqqn (This is still in progress, but a good portion is finished) Update 2: Further and further along, fixed a few segments while error checking with someone else's tab on Youtube.
The above I both have tabbed out for F# Standard.
Demetori - Deep Mountain - Album: 如臨深遠 ~雨縒煙柳~ - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?478zb59ifvwc9wt (Lead only so far, no chords. >.<)
E Standard.
Demetori - Greenwich in the Sky - Album : Sendaisoushi ~ Offering To The Sukhavati - http://www.mediafire.com/?n42es2flc5wxw29
I play it on a 7 string since I like adding the low B strnig, but you can easily play all of it in E standard. (Not close to finished)

Magnum Opus - Extend Ash ~ Hourai Victim - Album : 東方幻朧悠月抄 - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?8pzrz59woc49wgu (Mostly finished)
Eb Standard.

Tumeneco - If You're My Destiny Than End This Fated Determination - Album : 現夢 -genmu- Disc1 - (Arranged by Hull)- http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?4v46x41jalw9igq
Drop Db/C#

Yamagen's Devileliet - Innocent Winner - Album : Grievous Graves - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?l4qh58p2a3f87i2 (I did this really quickly one day and haven't looked at it since, perhaps will edit it later but for now, you've been warned.
Drop Bb/A#

Undead Corporation - Bleak Land - Album : 私はもう死んでいる?- http://www.mediafire.com/?r8g5g8rg01h8f14
Drop A. (Also have "My Fading Days" "Frozen" and "Double Helix" figured out but not tabbed, if anyone is interested.
(Edit: Adore Your Pain finished but incredibly rough, I will post it once I feel a bit more comfortable with it)
Undead Corporation - Adore Your Pain - Album : 私はもう死んでいる? : - http://www.mediafire.com/?a7qreq65uikubeh
Drop A. I tabbed it on my 7 again, but the tab doesn't even use the string that is different so it's no big deal. Rough for now, I always have issues hearing the lead guitar in UD Corporations' songs, but I've got (most) of what I could hear as best I can for now.

IOSYS (Minami) - Gorgeous Guardian - Album : 東方JeuXinTerdiTs - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?4dsfk204zbmm57v (Lead only so far)
E standard.

I'll likely try to keep updating the tabs in the future, but hopefully some of these help someone who may be interested.
Edit: Typo's :S
Update 2: Since it's been requested I figured I'd upload my beginning attempts at Greenwich in the Sky by Demetori. It's far from finished but it can give you a general idea of how the song and some of the riffs go.
Update 3: Adore Your Pain by Undead Corporation added, just what I have so far.

Update 4:
Foreground Eclipse - I Bet You'll Forget That Even If You Noticed That - Album : Each And Every Word Leaves Me Here Alone - Song : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSY05KRDXQ4 - Mediafire : http://www.mediafire.com/?1t2gre4wet01d59
Drop C
Notes: Now have both the Rhythm and the Lead done, everything save for the sweeping solo which I've been having some issues hearing but will get to eventually.

Update 5:
Xi-on - フォールオブフォール ~ 秋めく滝 - Fall of Fall ~ Autumnal Waterfall - Album : 東方志奏 1st Spell -Airstream- - Song :  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_CNWYIRlt8
Mediafire : http://www.mediafire.com/?7jbql59x7cw8ike
Standard E 6 string tuning.
Notes : The planets finally aligned and somehow I managed to make a tab with the full Lead Guitar. Unfortunately for you all that means the rhythm is yet to be tabbed out. I plan to later though, I just got through this all in one go and my fingers are killing me from all the bends. I had a blast tabbing and playing this, it's a really fun song to play.

Edit: Typo's :S

I would definitely like to see the other undead corporation tabs, they're all my fav songs from them! The Bleak Land tab doesn't work for me since it has a .INK at the end instead of being a simple text file  :( Thanks a ton for uploading those!

Here's a tab made by the guitarist in our band, we started adding Touhou songs to our roster and I figured they could be of interest for someone. It's not 100% tabbed though, this one is lacking a bit of lead and keyboards since it was tabbed by the rhythm guitarist mostly. I might reupload a finished version once we get more free time!

This thread has inspired me to pick up the guitar again.
I haven't played for about 5 years but I can't wait to try out some of these songs.
First I need to give the old girl a good clean up and a new set of strings.

Thanks for sharing these tabs and happy new year to all.

Update 4:
Foreground Eclipse - I Bet You'll Forget That Even If You Noticed That - Album : Each And Every Word Leaves Me Here Alone - Song : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSY05KRDXQ4 - Mediafire : http://www.mediafire.com/?in9tz682xeeqsq7
Drop C
Notes: Now have both the Rhythm and the Lead done, everything save for the sweeping solo which I've been having some issues hearing but will get to eventually.

You sir have some good taste... Undead Corporation and now the best song off Foreground Eclipse new album, I play mostly rhythm/bass and those tabs you make are pretty accurate! I'd request Destruction off that Foreground Eclipse album if you're interrested in tabbing it, it sure wouldn't go to waste =]

Classes are starting for me come tomorrow, but given that Winter Break managed to be more busy and time consuming than my normal classes, it's likely I'll have the time sooner or later to do a few if not make some progress in doing so. I'll look into Destruction and likely trying my hand at the rest of Greenwich in the Sky by Demetori again.

Update for the convenience of not looking back to the previous page:
Xi-on's 1st Spell album's Fall of Fall arrange is now tabbed for lead guitar.  Refer to the bottom of my previous post on page 7 for the links.

Update: Slightly less than half of Destruction by Foreground Eclipse completed for lead/rhythm. Will post it up onto the full post once it's finally completed.

I had a stab at the EoSD credits theme since I couldn't find it anywhere, it's my first tab and is only the introduction currently: http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/t/touhou_project/eastern_dream_intro_tab.htm

Also, why do you all upload tabs to file sharing sites instead of tab sites? Seems easier to find them if they're on Ultimate Guitar or Gametabs or something.

Derp, lost my password to my account as well as the e-mail it was tied to. Sad days, will just repost an updated version here on this account so I can continue to edit it. ;_;

Dark Phoenix - Love-Colored Master Spark - Album: ShotShell I -http://www.mediafire.com/?c6k4cv23hr4mi3u
All Dark Phoenix songs are in drop D. (I will also note I have Dark Road from Witch Clocks figured out, but have yet to tab it if anyone is interested)

Demetori - Satori Maiden ~ Innumerable Eyes - Album: Manejushaka ~ Nada Upasana Pundarika - http://www.mediafire.com/?ir3cpwr67618d58 (Updated V4)
I play it on a 7 string since I like adding the low B string, but you can easily play all of it in E standard.

IOSYS (Minami) - Gorgeous Guardian - Album : 東方JeuXinTerdiTs - http://www.mediafire.com/?ih5kf5mdcga22lt
(Lead only so far)

Update 6: Febuary 26, 2012 - Just discovered Sally for the first time, I'm in love. I may do the entire album for one instrument or another depending. If anything, definitely Shinki Text Document, L∞p and possible Sado.
First up: Enn ~Fuchi~ ( Enn ~淵~) for Bass. It's tabbed for a 5 string but I didn't even end up using the B string.
Tab: http://www.mediafire.com/?mt6192o31uwxdvh
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fycCbkk_UE4

Update: March 9, 2012 - Dark Phoenix - Mysterious Mountain - (Album) Sound-0 Phase-11
Tuning: Lead can be played in standard tuning, I haven't tabbed the rhythm yet, it may just be in standard since I haven't tried it, but I just stuck with putting it as drop D for now since so far that's what the other songs of DP's I've learned were. Lead doesn't even use that string though, so no matter.
Tab: http://www.mediafire.com/?soo2990yq9u47bm
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccoZlSzP3ig

Update : March 10, 2012 - Dark Phoenix's Love-Colored Master Spark has been updated to V2. I finished and fixed the mistakes in the solo and corrected an error in the intro riff. http://www.mediafire.com/?c6k4cv23hr4mi3u

Update: March 27, 2012 - Just screwing around on Final Sorcery off of Demetori's newest album BEGIERDE DES ZAUBERER.
Tab: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?r8bec7x32h7bc8j (v4. up now. Solo done thanks to some kind gentlemen on Youtube who posted covers which I listened to in order to figure it out) Still rough, will hopefully iron things out soon.
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRoOZPtI60k
Tuning : 8 string F#BEADGBE

Update: August 29, 2012 - Been a bit busy with college so not much , I was tabbing Final Sorcery and Desire Dream by Demetori, but I've needed a break from them so I haven't gotten much progress. I have however done this:
Song: The Metamorphosis - Stratiotes
Tuning B standard (7 string, yes I know chances are they play on a 6.)
Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?k5omc4bbh4c1trk (V.2 up, to the solo now.)
Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27XaJDpE5PE

Demetori's Desire Dream - So, unsurprisingly, It turns out I'm a  total herp-derp and despite my few advancements on Desire Dream, completely neglected to update Mediafire, my blog, or this thread. I guess it was so frustratingly difficult to tab out parts, as soon as I was done I closed the file and never looked at it again. I'm going back to it now hopefully and will make progress soon. >>
http://www.mediafire.com/view/?5ogoyhy4oak2aaf

I also apparently never updated this thread with one of Xi-on's Broken Moon arranges so here it is.
Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?2dfmzq1lmmjsabd
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD4UUzXW6Xk
Standard tuning

And now for something completely different.

Sound Holic Ft. 709sec - 銀弾マリオネット ~ Marionette
Bass Tuning - BEADG (I think it might be in eb standard on 4 strings, but I have a 5 string and damnit I'm going to use it. When I play Bass I tend to like using the open strings, and with this song oddly enough, standard matched up better with the open strings, so I went with it.
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcNg3_5-9NU&list=PLA6673395165B714A&index=0&feature=plcp
Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?kgeujz2nqji39vs (V2. I lied, I finished it today. I'm pretty happy with it but it needs to be error checked a few more times before I'm totally confident in it, as well as prettied up))

Update : September 28 -
Stratiotes' Broken Hearted Machine tab is finally complete. I'm not confident in the solos at all, and may eventually slow it down in audacity to try to figure it out properly, but for now this is satisfactory for me to actually call it done.
Mediafire : http://www.mediafire.com/view/?ndgdx54so6ounbk (V3)
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDXX6WLc_Gs
Tuning : BEADBE 7 String Standard

Announcement:

Requesting a person who is active and willing to re-organise and re-scan all the tabs posted in this thread. As you might have noticed, I haven't updated the main page for like ages and therefore the thread became messed up.

The person offering his help can immediately generate a new organised thread. I'll lock this one after the thread is ready.

Hello all. This is one of the greatest forum topics I have ever seen in my forum-nerd life :) So thanks to everyone who contributed so far. Maybe if I get much better one day, I can do that too.
For now I have a quick request that would mean a lot to me. I recently picked up the guitar for good this time and started practicing Demetori - Border of Life cover with the tabs I found online, but parts of the solo don't sound right.
I found this video on youtube where this guy seems to have improved it (maybe he's one of you?) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jUMEK-TS0A) As he says in the decription, he made alterations to 3:23-3:50 and it sounds much closer to the real thing. I asked him for the changed part but couldn't get a reply. I was wondering if anyone had a little spare time to fix the solo of this tab right here: http://www.mediafire.com/?bwk6cqr7j9det5z
That would be very much appreciated. Thanks again for such a wonderful thread.

Hi there, I'm new here, I just discovered your forum, and what I have to say is that this is fabulous!! (Then excuse me for my very imperfect English^^) :D
I saw your last announcement to build a new thread, and if you may take the time to read that, I would be glad to do it.
I just need some last setpoints (among others, I'm not sure I understood correctly the word "scan")

Awesome job on this, I might actually learn it now, since the video format from Chunzprocessor is just a bit too wonky for me. After a quick glance through the solo I think I might have spotted a mistake. On 119.

E|-17-16-14----14------
B|--------------17-----17-
Is what's on the tab.

E|-17-16-14----14~-----
B|-------------14-------17-
Is what I hear on the song.

One other is more of a nit pick than anything, it's the right notes but I believe in the song it's bends.
At 121/122 I believe the -12-14-17-14-17-14 would be
E|--------------12----------12-------------
B|-12-12^14----12^14-----12^14\/12~--

Nice job compiling everything, though.

Yeah, my bad, overlooked the 119 bar. Thank you for help and sharp ears!)))
Here goes Mysterious Mountain tab ver.1.2!: http://www.mediafire.com/?49un5to8evxzc7z
P.S.: This isn't the tab as it should be, as I've just got the right(I hope) notes without editing the tablature part. So don't try to play it(the solo, as rithm&verse are from Chunzprocessor's vid so it's ok) if only you can't stretch your fingers from 1st to 12 fret or so))))

The song isn't really in my vein of playing, but to my knowledge every song from Crows'claw's album Frozen Frog is in Standard Eb tuning. (At least the ones I messed around playing riffs from, that being Mastersparkin', Chicken Jam!, Check Your Blood and R'N'R 1969)
