I don't like the last card at all, can get trapped way too easily. Very good job on the rest, though.

I'm not fan of the nonspells except the first, it's just brainless dodging, but that's not so important.

But "Mysterious Blasts" (is that it ?) is kinda bad as a spellcard imo (open space short streaming, really ... ?), but I might have missed something here. What was your intent when you created the spellcard ?

The other spellcards are fine and entertaining. Yay for ph3 !

That script.
THAT SCRIPT.

That script gave me a blue screen of death on the second spell.

I loved the first spell,it was really great~
Like the rest of your script!
Keep up the good work~

New script!

This time it's a Mima boss battle for v0.12. I think I rushed a little bit on the 5th spellcard though. The difficulty is supposed to be around extra, but the boss is actually really short, maybe I'll add some more to this script later.

B-but Mima is never coming back ever!

Cool, I'll give it a try.

Review!

1st Nonspell: Looks cool, fun to play. 10/10.
1st Spell: Her movement creates walls  :ohdear:. Still doable. That's probably what's intended, anyway. 9/10.
2nd Nonspell: Second verse, same as the first. A whole lot quicker but pretty good. 10/10.
2nd Spell: Oh look Absolute just- oh look she's shoo- oh god the lasers angle themselves. Pretty hectic. 9/10.
3rd Nonspell: Instead of spaz mima have her move to a spot(in one frame, lolteleport) and shoot four times, then move again? So she looks less spaz. No wonder she's never coming back. 8/10.
3rd Spell: Noticed some lag. Maybe have familiars delete themselves? Otherwise, reminds me of starbow break, even if I never reach Flandre. 9/10.
4th Nonspell: Rather easy. Maybe make the knives wave more, or more bubbles? 9/10.
4th Spell: Oh, this is interesting. I freaked out when she tried to hug me. Maybe add a charge sound effect? 8/10.
5th Nonspell: Cool. 10/10.
5th Spell: Ah, bullets go a little more angled than straight down and come straight up. I like it. Oh wait, I don't  :derp:. 1/10 9/10 for creativity.

Total:  88 91/100(A)

Now make more!

Last Word: 1st phase: Sure. 2nd phase:  ??? 3rd phase  :o 4th phase:  :)

I find the 3rd the hardest. Lasers everywhere.

Updated the Mima Boss. Here are the major changes:
-Added the TD frame/status system (THANK YOU BLARGEL)
-Added the TD life ring
-Added a nonspell and spell (both are unfinished so if you are going to review this or something, ignore these)
-Toned down difficulty on 1st spell and reduced lag on 3rd spell
-Added points after each spell and, if captured, a bomb

There are still some changes with the frame that I need to make. Mainly the counter for graze/points.

Just dropping by to say.
You still need to make the lifebar just a bit better so we can see. ohaboutthesizeiusedforkonyllismaybe
Also, yeah. The last last spell seems not to have the SetDurableSpellCard active....

Well, I think the size is about the same as in 10D, but I do have to make it an effect object so it will be drawn over the bullets.

Also, I didn't even think about SetDurableSpellCard.  :V

Updated Mima yet again.

This time I have decided to start over on the spellcards because I don't like them. Hopefully the new ones are better.

Changes:

-Fixed status counters
-Animated Mima (THANK YOU AGAIN BLARGEL)
-Added glitchy timer
-Remade spells

Things I need to change:

-Timer
-Spellcard names
-Lifebar (maybe  :V)
-Default graphics
-Mima's movement

Lonely Review.

Nonspell 1: Ok. The second wave of knives is weird because it goes right in the middle of the first. I dunno why, but I won't ask. (9/10)
Spell 1: Basic spellcard. Ok. (10/10)
Nonspell 2: Alright. Needs a bit something extra after each wave, though. (8/10)
Spell 2: Hm... I can make a robot replicate this if I wanted to. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcFai3ZjIQg#t=257s) hinthint Good. (8/10)
Nonspell 3: Ok. (10/10)
Spell 3: Ok. This is sorta hinting at you making a HOMING CURVY LASERS card isn't it? (10/10)

55/60 (92%, A)

Aw, I dunno how I could make that mistake <_<. I'm gonna correct that.

Edit : oh well I didn't think you had gone so much backwards. Well ... I don't really like the new spellcards actually, while some of the others were kind of pretty.
Some spells/nonspells should have less life in my opinion, especially when your movement in controlled a lot.

Oh well, maybe I'll include a few previous spellcards in the future. Anyways, I've updated it again, it's not a very big update though. I think the life issue is fixed, but it's hard to get a perfect amount with so many different player scripts.  :wat:

Mima Finished!
I've finally finished Mima.  :derp:

Here are a few excuses notes before you try it:

-There is no survival spellcard.
-I know there is a much better way to make the effect options, but I think it's fine.
-A lot things in TD are nightmares to code in Danmakufu, and I'm lazy, so this isn't an exact replica.

Your life counter is messed up though, it shows one more extra life than you actually have.

Oh, thanks for noticing that.

Another thing I noticed by playing then looking at your code

This is in Def(f)ective Demons, in which I happened to die hit by a lightspeed star :
Code: [Select]
if (taskf2 == 1){
     Obj_SetSpeed(obj, Obj_GetSpeed(obj)-taska2);
taskf2 = 0;
}

if (taskf == 50){
taska2 = rand(-0.09,0.09);
taskf = 0;
}
Well if the bullet is taska2 is near say, 0.08. You shoot your bullets from more than 300 pixels out of the screen, and 2*50+1/2*0.08*50*50 = 300, so your bullets enters the screen at a speed of more than 2+0.08*50=6. Which is already a very high speed. And the bullets can keep accelerating after that, so I suggest you'd either reduce the acceleration or put a max bullet speed.

Hmm, I've changed the acceleration to 0.04, it seems much better. Also, I'm pretty sure "defective" is correct.

Your script has "deffective" though.

No, it doesn't. Do you have an older version?
