Fire.
Flames danced about crackling in sinister laughter. Devouring the town, slowly turning everything to ash. This situation, this disaster, it could be described with one word alone.
Chaos.
A girl sits on the ground, without even seeing her tear streaked face, you know she?s crying. In front of the girl, there is a body.
It?s a small child. Her eyes are empty and lifeless. Blood leaks from her still body. The debris of a house lie on the child?s weak and fragile body, likely having crushed all the bones in her body. The flames slowly creep closer, licking the child?s corpse.
The crying girl swats at the flames, making them move back for only a second. You can hear her voice as it resounds in this death cage of fire. However, you can?t make out her words too well. You strain to hear, trying to drown out the crackling roars of fire, the constant snapping of wood, and the sniffling cries from the girl before you.
?Why!..why did this?have to?? She begins to cough slightly. ?Have to?happen like?this? She starts to gasp for air. You try to move forward to help her, but you?re body wont move.
?Damn it! Why can?t I do anything for her?! You shout at yourself pointlessly.
Then you notice it.
?Oh, so I can?t help her, because that?s?
Everything goes dark.
