    Defend the Scarlet Devil Mansion


    Players:   Berzul (Remilia) , YuyukoYakumo (Flandre),  Dolls (Sakuya), Shadoweh (Patchouli), Zengar (Koakuma),  Serp (Meiling)

    Game Rules
    • Respect the Moderator and players. Any sign of bad behaviour is punished by instant removal. Serious cases may escalate to Godmother for further judgement.
    • Unfortunately, due to intense administration only ?active? players may join. When in doubt, Gungnir out I will be scanning your posting history to judge whether you can join or not. If you have exams / being grounded / etc or not serious about playing then don?t join. It is only rude to rob a spot of a person who is willing to play.
    • You will reply within 24 hours. Failure is removal from game substituted by reserved player.
    • If you die during the game, you will not be allowed to post nor interact about the game with the remaining players. Ignoring this rule may lead to punishment.

    Game description and goal
    • Game duration:  14 days (42 turns). Game limit:  6 players. Moderator = Helepolis
    • Win condition: Defend the Mansion until end of Day 14 and successfully destroying ALL enemies.
    • Losing conditions: Remilia dies / all trophies are stolen or unable to destroy all enemies at end of Day 14

    Game play
    Available commands (please bold out for emphasis):
    ##Attack <target> - Regular attacks a target. Can only be used if the enemy and girl is in the same area. Counts as a turn.
    ##Spell Card/Skill <name> <target> - Uses a spell card/supreme ability of choice. Depending on the card, it might require a target. Read the info. Counts as a turn.
    ##Move <location>  - Moves to desired location. Counts as a turn.
    ##Order <Maid nr> <move/stay> <target> - Sakuya only, moves Maids to desired area or orders to stay (movement must be like player movement). A maid who received 'stay' order will stay until different order is given.
    ##Purchase <item> - Purchases an item/maid. If it is instant, it will be immediately executed on the same turn. Counts as a turn.
    ##Use <item> - Uses specific items which are inventory based items. Counts as a turn.
    ##Idle - Idles at location. This commands is automatically used if the player has executed invalid command. Counts as a turn.
    ##Cancel - Cancels any last given command
    ##GiveSC <target> - Patchouli only, gives the generated SC to target.
    ##Confirm - Remilia only, confirms commands and brings forth next day with fixed deadline.

    Note: There is a 24 hour deadline on each turn for the party. Remilia can confirm commands within these 24 hours to speed up the process.

    Important to keep in mind: If the description of any event or skill says 'Girl' it means your own character. If it says 'Unit' it can be either you or a Fairy Maid.

    Days and turns
    • There are 3 turns per day indicating the phase of the day. A day ends when the enemy is defeated or 3 turns are over. If the enemy isn?t dead within these 3 turns, next day will follow possibly overflowing the mansion area.
    • At the end of the day, all generates stuff will be calculated.
    • SDM girls may always attack first unless otherwise stated.

    Attacking or defending
    Each time you may choose to attack with a girl or use a spell. Any attack is based on chance which is reported with the girl. (1dX) where X is variable. Spell Cards are 100% success unless stated otherwise. A regular attack means damage is calculated based on your stats and enemy stats and a spell or skill is calculated based on the skills power and enemy stats.

    Example: Regular attack with Remilia = 75% >> 1d4 >> if  1,2 or 3 = success else fail.  // Patchouli uses SC >> 100% >> apply effects.

    Enemy behaviour
    An enemy attack is always random. Enemies have 33% chance of using a spell/skill, else they regular attack unless their effect is instant. Example:  1d3 >>1,2 = regular attack. 3 = special skill. The used skill is random depending on how many skills the enemy has.



    Shops and services
    Each day, the team can decide to purchase items or hire gensoukyou girls. Prices are noted between ( ). The following are available:

    Cirno4000, 2 CHA, instant Randomly attacks 1d5.  1 = Perfect freeze, freezes all enemies for the day. Easy to kill,  2 = Diamond Dust, boosts all attack power of nearby girls by 5. 3 = fail , 4 = fail , 5 = Frozen Frog. Causes Suwako to become angry launching lightning bolts on area. Power 6.
    Rumia3000, 2 CHA, instantEverything becomes dark for the day. Remi and Flan gain +4 attack but all other units get -25% chance. Enemies will sure miss all attacks. Can use ?Is that so?? on 1d5 chance, if Rolls 3 >> Insta kills up to 3 targets randomly using 1dX where X is order of units appearing.
    Daiyousei3000, 3 CHA, 5 faith, instantHeals all units in the mansion to full life.
    Defense Reimu2000, 10 faith, instantPlaces a border around the mansion. Minions are damaged to 50% HP. enemies + bosses will be halted at the gate for 1 turn.
    Attack Reimu300, instantGrants all girls with special charm, boosting attack power by +1 for 1 day.
    Attack Marisa4000, instantRaids the Mansion, causes all fairy maids to become useless but in return takes out the enemies all over the mansion. Bosses will be attacked by Marisa with her Master spark. Attack: 15. -4 CHA from Patchouli. If Patchouli does not have enough CHA, this attack will do nothing.
    Alice1500, [5] CHA, instantAlice summons instant dolls to assist in combat for the next day. Have to choose type to use dolls: Shanghai (attack), England (attack, ranged), Hourai (defense). Requires minimum of 5 CHA with the girl she cooperates else her success rate becomes -25%. Shanghai, England will dual attack with assisting girl. Hourai will boost armour during defense by +3 and heal +2 HP after it.
    Nitori's Security Camera1500, usablePlace it in an area. Automatically pulls Fairy Maids to an area if it was unguarded by a girl. Lasts 3 days.
    Kappa Microwave5000, usableCooks stuff faster with it. Girl carrying it gains +1 HP heal per turn. If Sakuya has it, she can heal target girl for 5 HP. Lasts 5 days.
    Nargile2500, usableEastern smoking device. -3 armour +3 attack for all girls in area. Upon using it depletes at the end of the day.
    Rare sword3000, usable Seems like strange and powerful sword. +10 attack. Breaks after usage.
    Eirin heal pod500, usableHeals 5 HP of the girl carrying it.
    Marisa shroom500, usableUnknown mushroom Marisa keeps bringing to Rinnosuke. Use with care. Consumable for the girl carrying it.

    Areas effects
    Guarding an area with a specific girl can give beneficial effects to your girl or allies. Below the following areas:

    The Great Library ? Patchouli gains +3 attack and has 90% success rate. Koakuma gains 100% success rate and generates double faith if at the end of the day present.

    Living Room ? All girls +1 armour. Remilia generates +1 CHA extra. If all girls are present in the room for any turn: All girls +3 CHA +6 faith generated at the end of the day.

    Kitchen ? All girls +5 HP healed at the end of the day. Sakuya gains double power for regular attacks in the kitchen. Flandre gains +2 attack.

    Gardens ? Flandre, Remilia -2 armour but may pick 3 targets for Gungnir, The Eye. Patchouli?s Metal sign won?t harm allies.

    Gate ? Flandre, Remilia -3 armour, can pick up to 3 targets for Gungnir and The Eye.



    Girls and skills

    1 Remilia Scarlet [Leader] HP: 30, SC: 6, Armour: 2, Attack: 6
    Leader always takes the final word and is most responsible. Has the ability to manipulate fate. Should be alive at any cost. Losing Remilia means losing the game. Has 75% success rate.
    Area: Living room.
    Supreme ability: The Queen of Fate ? Alters an incident or outcome of the incident (can re-play a day, 100% chance on all girls for 1 day or ignore event). Cost 20 CHA, 10 faith. Each effect can be only used once. Final days cannot be ignored.

    Skills: 
    Scarlet Bats ? Scatters into bats. Becomes immune to all damage and effects for 1 day. Cannot use other skills but can attack regular. Cost: 1 SC
    Spear the Gungnir  ? Pierces and damages enemy, cannot be evaded, Ignores defense, power 9. Cost: 1 SC.
    Red the Nightless Castle ? Emits aura of danmaku damaging everything around her, power 7. Cost: 1 SC and 5 CHA.
    The Mistress Cares ? Sacrifices max 3 CHA to charge 1 girl with it.  (i.e -2 CHA to give +2 CHA to girl.)

    Generates: +5 CHA, +400 points


    2 Flandre Scarlet [Melee] HP: 35, SC: 4, Armour: 4, Attack: 8
    She is the little sister and capable of destroying enemies fast. Has the ability to instant kill.  Has 75% success rate.
    Area: Living room or kitchen.
    Supreme ability: Crushing ?The Eye? ? Kyus a non-boss target. Instant kill. Boss targets -50% HP. Requires 5 CHA. Cannot be used for 1 day after effect.

    Skills:
    Scarlet Bats ? Scatters into bats. Becomes immune to all damage and effects for 1 day. Cannot use other skills but can attack regular. Cost 1 SC.
    L?vatein ? Does aoe massive damage, power 7. Cost: 1 SC.
    Four of a Kind ? Flandre becomes 4 Flandres for turn. Clones have 50% damage. Only the real Flandre can be hurt by enemy if he hits her. Cost: 1 SC, 2 CHA.

    Generates: +2 CHA, +100 points.


    3 Izayoi Sakuya [Assist] HP: 20, SC: 8, Armour: 1, Attack: 4
    Elegant and perfect maid. Has both killing and assisting abilities. Lectures all fairy maid and gains faith from them. Has 100% success rate.
    Area: Kitchen or any room.
    Supreme ability: Time and Space control ? Stops a day for additional 24 hours (6 turns per day). Requires 10 HP, 1 SC, 30 faith. Cannot be used for 1 day after effect.

    Skills:
    Elegant Maid (passive) ? Each action Sakuya does has 100% success rate, no matter what might influence it.
    Killer Doll: Deals severe damage to target, power 15. Costs 1 Spell card.
    Sakuya?s world: The room Sakuya is in becomes hers. Cost: 3 SC 3 CHA. The following abilities are possible:
    • Kill all enemy units ? insta kill all units in room, excluding bosses. Bosses receive damage, power 15.
    • Back up girl(s) ? Grants all fairy maids in the room +2 attack +2 armour 100% success rate.
    • Move enemies  ? Warps all enemy units to another room/space of choice

    Generates: +1 faith, for every fairy maid alive in the same area: +1 faith.


    4 Patchouli Knowledge [Assist] HP: 15, SC: 10, Armour: 0, Attack: 8
    She is the magician witch of the mansion. Specialized in control of the elements for attack and defence. Has 75% success rate.
    Area: Library or Living room.
    Supreme ability:  Philosopher Stones, May regular attack up to 3 targets. +6 attack,  +5 armour, critical chance 1d5 for double damage. Lasts until end of day. Requires  1 SC, 5 faith and 2 CHA. Cannot be used  for 1 day after effect.

    Skills:
    Water Sign: Princess Undine ? Grants protection to an target +10 armour for 1 day, immune to side effects. Cost 1 SC.
    Fire Sign: Royal Flare ? Does massive damage on area, power 7. Cost 1 SC.
    Metal and Wood Sign "Elemental Harvester" ? Mows down entire area dealing massive damage, damages allies as well. Power 10. Cost 1 SC.
    Moon Sign "Silent Selene" ? Silences all enemy abilities in the room. Grants instant healing to allies. If Remilia or Flandre is in the room, they gain +5 attack. Cost: 2 SC, 1 CHA, 1 faith.

    Generates: +1  Spell Card for a girl of choice. +1 faith.


    5 Koakuma [Assist] HP: 20, SC: 0, Armour:  2, Attack: 2
    Little mischievous devil assisting Lady Patchouli in her Library. Koakuma is immune to negative effects used by the enemy but has no spell cards on her own. Has 75% success rate.
    Area: Library
    Supreme Ability: None

    Skills:
    Natural Devil (passive) ? Koakuma is naturally immune to negative magic and heals 5 HP every day.
    Devilish Librarian (passive) ? Receives additional atk / armour of one girl in the room. (rank order if multiple girls = Remilia, Flandre, Patchouli, Meiling, Sakuya)
    Faithful Librarian ? Transfers faith to a girl.
    Caring Librarian ? Heals up to 10 HP of a target girl, but deducts 10 HP from Koakuma.

    Generates: +2 faith, +1 CHA, +100 points


    6 Hong Meiling [Melee] HP: 45, SC: 5, Armour: 6, Attack: 6
    The faithful and sharp gate keeper. Meiling has excellent abilities in defending. Has 75% success rate. (Note on toggle skills: only 1 toggle skill can be active)
    Area: Gate and Garden
    Supreme Ability:  Qi burst ? Maximizes abilities. +4 armour, +14 attack. 100% resistance to negative effects. Lasts 2 days. Unable to use this skill for next 2 days after effect. Cost 5 CHA, 30 faith. Cannot be used  for 1 day after effect.

    Skills
    Flowing Qi (toggle) ? Shares Qi with all girls taking damage for them if activated. 25% of damage done is taken by Meiling. Cost 1 CHA, 5 faith.
    Dragon stance (toggle) ? Attack +5, Armour +2. Cost 1 CHA, 5 faith.
    Tiger stance (toggle) ? Each incoming attack is evaded and damage is returned. Power 9. Cost 1 CHA, 5 faith.
    Oss stance (toggle) ? Armour +14. Attack -4. Becomes tough, blocks all negative effects. Cost 1 CHA, 5 faith.
    Colourful Dance ? Performs a brilliant dance doing damage. 50% chance to blind all nearby enemies. Power 5. Cost 1 SC.
    Sky Dragon Kick ? Sends a target flying (insta kill on units, 15 power on bosses). Cost 1 SC, 1 CHA.
    Ultimate Mountain Breaker ? Massive damage in an area and debuffs all enemies. Debuffed enemies cannot use their powers or block attacks. Power 10. Cost 2 SC.

    Generates: +50 points, +2 faith.

    With great force the Hakurei border splits open a small passage way. A shady figure appears within it, gesturing with it's paw to attack to its minions.

    Sakuya: "My Lady!"
    Remilia: "I know Sakuya, it was expected."
    Sakuya: "So you sensed it?"
    Remilia: "Yes, this interior of the mansion is giving me bad vibes. We need to decorate it more."

    Patchouli: "Remi, an incident is happening."
    < Remilia swiftly turns around trying to remain calm >
    Remilia: "I-incident! Yes, it was about time!"
    Patchouli:  "What is your plan?"

    Hint / tips: A throphy will be instantly stolen if the area is unguarded. Each enemy can steal 1 trophy and will escape without a trace.

    Ok from what I understand, if that's true, we get the most if you just stay where we are at the end of the turn. Thus, we should really do nothing and stay in place, since we don't have nothing to do right?

    The goal is just to defend, not to walk places to which there are no enemies at, right? Also.. are enemies that are invisible for some reason?

    Hmm... On first thought, staying in the living room seems like a good idea. But wondering on what might happen the next day, we would be quite unprepared if we were swarmed, since we can't reach either garden. And I suspect that's where the enemy is going to show up. Really, I'd rather we start splitting up and get ready to jump the enemy, but it seems we're content to just sitting back for now.

    They are going to show up next day that is what I understand.. and the problem is that we need to be in the living room at the end of the day, thus we can roam anywhere but we must the there at the end of the day, and everyone really...

    Oh yay I'm Flandre! That was my first choice.

    Looking at the map a bit, I see that you can get in to every room except the left garden with one move from the living room. So, like everyone's said so far, it'd be a good idea to stay in the living room to build up resources on the first turn. From what I believe, if all of the girls are in the living room at the same time at the end of any one turn, not necessarily the day, then they will all get the bonus at the end of the day regardless of their final positions. If the enemies come in through the gate, then the garden on the right doesn't seem to serve much purpose since the trophies are contained in rooms before it. The only thing I see it being used for is as a resting place and for whatever bonuses it supplies.

    From how I see it we need to all be present during one turn to get the faith and CHA bonus at the end of the day, thus we should be able to rearrange ourselves during the middle of the day and reach our final positions during the evening.

    On another note I see I generate one SC for a girl of choice at the end of the day, who do you think should get the first one?

    I agree about staying in the living room for this turn (If we only have to stay for a turn) to get the bonus.

    Also, we should think about what we are going to buy and where we're going to place people. I think we should get around 2-4 fairy maids and place them accordingly but recommend them with me and Meiling so extra faith is generated. We should aim to maintain around 6-8 fairies (with most of them to me or Meiling) as we go along or more if we really need them but 6-8 is ideal as that will only cost 150-200 points to maintain. We should also buy some Eirin heal pods, just in case and while we still have some money. As for who to give the SC to Patchouli, it's up to you but I recommend yourself for now should get it as you are the weakest of us and your spell cards are quite good. Now positions we should take for day 2, I think Meiling and me should guard the kitchen, Patchouli and Koakuma guards the library and mistress and little mistress guard the living room, of course this is just general and we can work it out more when we know about the enemy more.

    Hint/tip: As soon as all the commands are given it will be executed no matter what. Think wisely to use commands. This is why Remilia or trustful person should act last in case of "panic/confusion"

    Right then I'll keep my spellcard I guess, seeing as princess Undine is my only means of defense (which I only noticed just now is naturally zero :derp:)

    Also I guess this is a fairly minor point but when we start moving around, Who should Koakuma (PX) stick with? I only had a quick look at the list but I'm sure some girl/Koa combinations are better than others. Keeping a maid or two around Koa for extra combat capacity might not be a bad idea either.

    I think it might be worth considering having Patchy and someone else in the garden to allow unhindered use of Elemental Harvester, granted the same effect could be achieved by leaving Patchy alone but she is rather fragile without using Princess Undine :ohdear:

    PS. gotta think about guarding the artifacts in the kitchen too, don't want them being stolen without a fight

    This seems pretty sensible to me, giving Sakuya her attack double, Remi her extra CHA, and giving me and Koa a rather significant boost plus some extra faith.

    Mmm i think sakuya and koa in the left garden wouod be best, having koa whore spellcards and faith onto sakuya so she can just go in and wipe everyone. Meiling is pretty tanky so i guess having her in the gate would work and go back to living room or garden to heal would also work. Remi and flan would migrate all the damage from patchy if there all in the same room, also if needed they can walk into the garden and as with sakuya just wipe everyone with gugnir/the eye and all there other fancy moves.

    I agree about staying in the living room for this turn (If we only have to stay for a turn) to get the bonus....
    Well, yes, get bonus, however... since we can move and attack, thus having us in the garden can end up in getting hit before we can counterattack, right..?
    My idea of team composition would be...

    The Great Library=Patchi, Koakuma, for Generating faith there.

    The Kitchen= Flan, Sakuya, if the situation requires it, they would move elsewhere. Preferable, for me, would be to have any kind of AoE at all ends, where we can use it though, but my idea as it now, is that the enemy will come though the gate only the next turn, according to the arrow. Thus spacing out wont give too much effect right now. Also fight bosses in the kitchen, 50 points of damage is.. enough, from one attack.

    Technically, if we play defencelessly.. producing as much recourses as we can, we should be ok.

    The living room= Remilia and Meiling, for now. If there will be need of moving and attacking, thus action will be preformed. Right about now... just leave it as it as that, for day 2, until things change.

    Also, since there are points, let's buy something. (did not notice you can buy right about now...)

    I am the only one that can buy anything right now, So Sakuya, here you go

    ##Buy, one Fairy Maid for Sakuya, not that she needs one.... but in game language it's profit.

    We dont need to limit ourselves to defending the room with trophies, we should be keeping them out of the mansion. Left side allows them access to 2 room with trophies gate lets them get straight to living room as with garden. We should be trying to keep them in gardens and at the gate. Only flaw i see in defending the rooms with trophies is if we need to fall back we lose trophies. Keeping remi and flan in the same room would be cool because they heal themselves and basically wipe enemies in the gardens or who ever is in the room. Also if someone needs a heal, they can go to that room and just have remi and flan migrate the damage and buy a some heals.

    If I'm reading this correctly, we move on the first turn, buy on the second turn, and attack on the third turn. So we can't move again today. :|

    This is pretty much why I wanted to move out now.

    I still recommend my suggestion, as we'll gain the most resource for it while things are still early in the game. As for buying, can we purchase multiple things in one go or do we each have to buy them one at a time Hele?

    Ah I should clarify one thing about the turns and actions. I it is described quite poor (my mistake orz).

    Each turn you can fulfil 1 action. Aka you can move 3x over turns if you wish (the day would be over). So you are not forced to move on turn 1, you could basically first purchase on turn 1 then move on turn 2 or 3 (which one is better for you)

    Hope that clarifies the actions and turns first.

    Oh yea.. my mistake not noticing the innate passive of a fairy maid in all of this.. probably we could do that... move out on our second turn to the positions and wait... and shop at turn 3.
