Dear citizens of MotK. While most of you have already heard of tasofro's new game (Are they afro developers I wonder), Dyna Marisa has become reality it seems. What got released as a teaser preview during April fool's day, was more than a joke. It almost felt like a double fool. You know, HAH ! FOOLED YOU FOR FOOLING YOU! (Wait that didn't made any sense).

Expected release date: 1st of May 2011 !

Now what happens if you give Marisa a bazooka. Exactly... amazing things happen. You are Kirisame Marisa, who seems to be most likely raiding the Scarlet Devil Mansion. However, Patchouli Knowledge had enough of Marisa's raids and somehow developed the ability to create giant robots?

What happens when the game becomes 3D? The amazing becomes even more amazing. It seems the game is using basic anaglyph (Cyan Magenta) to form the 3D vision. See several screenshots here at the official site of Tasofro.

A lot of April's Fools this year were in this fashion "HA! FOOLED YOU ABOUT NOT FOOLING YOU!"

I wonder if I could pick up a copy of this... Maybe N-Forza could help with that. But I'm not a fan of this 3D stuff, I hope that it's not required to have the full gameplay experience.

I believe you don't need a pair of 3D glasses to enjoy the game. For example in Minecraft, you have the ability to turn on and off the anaglyph. This pretty much goes for most 3D games I have seen so far. The screenshots also confirm both the 3D view and regular view.

So it should be cool.

OK that's good. So this shouldn't be one of those 3D gimmick games, great. I presume it just helps for those with 3D glasses.

But still...just implementing 3D, especially when it's prominently advertised on the top, bugs me. At least in the case of Minecraft 3D anaglyph mode is not that significantly displayed compared to the gameplay aspects.

I was very excited by this when I saw it. Marisa is awesome. Bazookas are awesome. Robots are awesome. Marisa shooting robots with a bazooka is overflowing with awesome. Just to confirm, this is a full release, not a demo or anything right?

You know, I just noticed in the first part of the movie, you can see Marisa holding a bazooka with Patchouli's crescent moon on top of the muzzle. Did Patchouli lend a gun to her or did Patchouli turned herself into a gun ?!

Seems really great but somehow I don't like the mix between Touhou and guns

if Marisa were doing her Stardust reverie or non directional laser and master spark as some kind of special attack ) probably won't get this one

but I'm sure it's quite enjoyable

I think the dialog box springing up right in front of my sprite as I'm trying to aim and fire upon enemies could get very frustrating. But that's my sole complaint. This game looks fun, and is just the sort of thing I'd enjoy; even the 3D gimmick excites me.

Must be some kind of crossover thing, heavy weapons and machinery at the cost of magic. (And yet the fairies are still there, which is kind of a contradiction, but who cares!)

EDIT: On a note relating to the actual game, I've had a poke with my Kogasa Glasses on and it does seem to work. I am really wanting to play this when it does come out so I can see if it really does work during game-play. ^^

I laughed way more than I should have... I don't have glasses on me but I'll try to get my hands on some cellophane or something xD

Saw the trailer somewhere around April Fools so I abandoned all hope of ever seeing this... Looks like I was tricked into thinking the game was a trick...(?)

Also I couldn't tell if either:
1: Marisa became small
2: Everything else became big
3: Everything is normal sized and the huge mansion is just Sakuya at work
