II made you go through that horrible pun that is the thread subject.

I thought it'd be nice to put up a thread for my touhou f-arts and studies. My style doesn't really cater to anime so I'm sorry if they're a bit botched up. Tbh, I have trouble drawing anime :V

Still learning how to digi-paint so forgive the varying levels of quality. I'm trying out a bit of everything for each piece. Also, I'm working on some 4koma and a little doujin that revolves around Yukari and Ran's backstory (that I haven't even started on yet).

Most of these things are speedpaints so they take me around 1-2 hours to do.

I'm still resizing some of my pics since I'm really uncomfortable with the idea of sharing my hi-res stuff. Ahahaha enjoy.

This one's a doujin study. I redrew one of Tohonifun's pages in my style just to get a feel of... w/e. So yeah, my doujin is probably going to look like this.

it takes me around 1-2 hours for the messy ones. The neater ones take around 4 or more

My favorite pic so far would be the bandaged Ran, but I love that Marisa. Though I wish her hat had a wider brim.

Amazing, Taku! I don't think there's any problem with your anime-styled stuff, though a more uniform coloring style would make it look more fit for the genre, if you'd like that advice ^^
If you don't mind a request, I'd like the pokemon game character touko drawn in profile. :3

Hahaha yeah, I'm trying to experiment with various ways of coloring so I can find a nice painterly technique that would suit me. I'll find that coloring style soon :'>
