Finally picking up the courage to make my own art thread here. May as well start out with recent stuff.
First, Touhous! -
Finished version of the Satori image that I posted in the all-purpose Touhou art thread.

Random demonic being thingu. Look at all of those spikes...
Out of boredom, i decided to put a few of my names into one of those Japanese memegen things, and this is the only one who got a good enough translation in Google Translate (sigh, if only I knew Japanese) for me to draw. Most everything but the knife was in the description.
I think that's a good enough first post for an art thread. I should post some of my older Touhou crap later...

I can already see you have good form control, that Satori is a good one.
You probably need to practice some anatomy bits, know which are the slim bits on a girl's body, the and more bony parts. Face wise, try using more straight lines instead on one curved line to grab more accurate looks. Eyes wise, use bridges (draw lines across the face to grab where the position of the eyes should be next to each other, so they don't look too far apart and too inaccurate up and down. hope this helps.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I rely a little too much on complete freeflow without much guide usage. A habit I've tried breaking before with less than spectacular results, but something I should incorporate more (practice makes perfect, as everyone says). And yeah, a little better grasp on anatomy... I know I have a lot of quirks in my style, heh. :V
But yeah, your input is appreciated, man.

cool, im on DA as AandBart :/ not realy name i like but da doesent allow name change sadly , my da is updated much at all lol , i'll cheak yours out soon ,, gimp is good , i use it instead of my ps4 tho i'ld like learn how use ps4 better :/ seems a waste not useing it
