Thanks to Donut, triangles, Huh what and Okashii for permission to post this~

After his rise to Idiot Deityhood, Donut offered a challenge to the denizens of CPMC.
The entries, though few in number, were awesome and fun to read.
And they can be counted as literary works.
Thus it was decided that they shall no longer be kept from the eyes of the public, but rather presented proudly here in the Library.
So here we proudly present:

The Gensokyo Wikipedia

In this thread, everyone can submit articles about characters, places, or events in Gensokyo, as long as they somewhat follow the standards quoted below.
Let's all together fill up those blank pages and have fun~

Alright idiots! Class is in session. Here are the rules as made up by Yours Truly sent to me:

Create an in-universe (as in, from the perspective of other Touhou characters) Wikipedia page on a Touhou character.

The page should have multiple blue links to other pages and cite made up sources (via [1], etc). Using a template wikipedia uses to put information on people in would be recommended as well. The page should document anything notable the character (biography) has done and any controversy about them as well. Wikipedia pages on famous people are recommended to use for reference. Be sure to obey wiki rules, ie no weasel words and make sure it's from a neutral standpoint (saying something along the lines of "Reimu is lazy and greedy and nobody likes her" in the controversy section would be bad, but "According to recent polls, over 70% of Gensokyo's residents believe Reimu to be selfish and greedy and prefer [[Sanae Kotiya]] as their miko of choice." would be good.

Understand? No? Good.

Shinki

Shinki (born on the same date as the creation of the universe[1]) is the ruler of the demon world Makai, president of Makai Corp and Creator Goddess of all demon kind inside this universe.

Shinki is the most powerful demon in existence[2] and has won many interdimensional Overlord tournaments. Her most legendary victory was her win against 500 year straight Overlord Tourney champion Baal.[3] Shinki has also been Miss Multiverse five times in a row before she had to be suspended for not giving the competitors a chance to win. She currently lives in the demon world Makai, where she nurtures her youngest creations and runs Makai Corp.  Makai Corp is the most successful company in the entire multiverse, and made Shinki the richest being in existence.

Shinki has been known to have had an affair with Overlord Zetta several years ago.[4] While technically all demons are her children, the youkai magician Alice Margatroid is considered to be Shinki?s ?actual? daughter.[5] It is however unknown whether Zetta is the biological father of Alice or not.

Shinki is a nickname given to her by her demon creations, literally meaning ?Wonderful God?.[6] Her real name is 37 syllables long, which many mortals had trouble with to pronounce, hence the creation of the nickname.[7]

Early life
-------------
Shinki was born shortly after the creation of our known universe, having been created by the Dragon God from it?s own scales.[8] Shinki is one of the daughters of the Dragon God, creator of the universe and guardian of magic.[9] Shinki has several siblings, all of which govern a certain aspect of existence and the circle of life. Shinki?s most well known siblings are Sariel, YHWH and King Yama, respectively the Angel of Death, the Guardian of Life and the Head Judge of the Afterlife/Ruler of Hell.[10] The identities of Shinki?s other siblings are still unknown.

Having been home-schooled by her sole parent the Dragon God, Shinki knows everything about the workings of the universe and the cycle of life. She is however reluctant to explain the meaning of life to mortals, since she is afraid ?their brains might melt and flow out of their nose and eye sockets?.[11] She has been reported by her sister Sariel ?to always get the highest grades and being a huge know-it-all?.[12]

Shinki was tasked by the Dragon God to create demons, devils and various other fiends. These demons had to test mortals by challenging their strength, wit and morality.[13] Through these tests mortals will learn to overcome their sins and flaws and be able to ascend to Heaven, which is governed by Shinki?s sibling YHWH. The very reason of the existence of our Universe is to purify the many souls that were tainted by the Dragon God's brother and Shinki?s uncle: Amatsu-Mikaboshi. Once her task is done Shinki will be allowed to return with her parent and siblings to Heaven, where she can continue to care for her own creations.[14]

Since morals and intelligent mortals would take several billions of years to come into existence Shinki had to slumber until the dawning of intelligent life. 5 billion years ago Shinki finally awakened.[15] From then on she could start testing the tainted souls on various planets.

Makai
-------------
Shinki created Makai a few years after her awakening to store all the demons she had to create. The demons within Makai started out as bestial beings, but as Shinki got more experienced with creating life the demons started to develop more and more. In the end Shinki managed to create intelligent beings that often resembled normal human beings. The Makai demons slowly but surely built a civilization, and to this day still praise their Creator Goddess. The faith of Shinkism is religion that mostly only appears in Makai, but lately it has been spreading to other worlds too.[16]

Makai is best known for their demon selling services. These were especially popular in the Middle Ages, where the amount of wizards reached a staggering height. For a price wizards could purchase familiar demons to do their biding. This market kept grossing massive amounts of money until the end of the feudal era in the East. After that era many witch hunts took place and eliminated potential customers, ruining the demon selling market.

Makai is a popular meeting point and vacation destination for demons and Overlords from other dimensions.[17] These Overlords are however not created by Shinki herself, but by sources from other universes. Shinki is still trying to find out who is creating all these other demons. Shinki has been reported to be extremely popular with even the most anti-social Overlords. Some of these Overlords are even close friends with Shinki. King Kricheskoy, Overlord Prier, Overlord Zenon and Overlord Zetta are examples of Shinki?s many companions.[18]

Because Makai is such a popular vacation point the tourism market in Makai has become very successful. Makai tried to expand its tourism market by opening travel to Gensokyo. However, due to a recent incident regarding the guardian off Gensokyo, Reimu Hakurei, these projects had to be aborted. In fact, due to this incident Makai had suffered much damage and obtained many debts.[19]

Makai Corp
---------------

To pay for these debts Shinki revived the demon selling market. Due to the discovery of many other dimensions and universes outside of this one Shinki realized that there might still be worlds that would be interested in purchasing demons. And Shinki was correct, for not only in Gensokyo but on many other magical planets throughout the multiverse demons proved to be an extremely popular product.[20] Sells reached an all time high, and in mere weeks Shinki had obtained enough profit to pay off all the debts. And Shinki is still continuing her successful company, developing more and more new products as the company grows.

Shinki has started building more companies in various dimensions to increase the productivity even more. The best known child company of Makai Corp is Holy Nightmare Corp[21], led by one of Shinki?s most powerful creations: Nightmare.

Shinki is planning to try and start the demon market on Earth and other magicless planets again, in hope of letting magic, and thus the sells of demons, flourish again. There have been plans to even place disguised companies in these worlds, acting like mercenary, security and bodyguard services.[22]

Shinki was once asked what she is going to do with all this money. Shinki responded that she wasn?t really sure yet, but she was determined on one investment though:
?I?m going to buy the Hakurei Shrine and revive the tourism in Gensokyo again. Let?s see how much money it will take before Reimu decides to cough up the Shrine.?[23]

Makai Corp is to this day the number 1 company in the multiverse, having bought out many other interdimensional companies and sporting a wide array of different products. Shinki has appeared in many economic magazines, standing at the top of the list of richest beings in existence, even topping famed treasure hunter and game tycoon Wario Wario, who held the #1 position for years before the rise of Makai Corp.[24]

Personal Life
-----------------

Shinki has many personal connections, from friends to family to even lovers. All of Shinki?s creations see Shinki as both a mighty God and as a mother figure. There exist no Makai demon that despises Shinki. Even the bulk of outer world demons have a certain degree of affection towards Shinki, with the only exceptions being Overlord Laharl and Overlord Baal.[25] Shinki?s many achievements have earned her much fame and admiration. However, according to polls non-demonic beings tend to look at Shinki with envy, thinking she is a big show off. Reimu and many other Gensokyo residents aren?t very fond of her apparently.[26]

Shinki can get along well with most of her family, and she socializes a lot with them. The only exceptions to this rule are Sariel and Ameno-Makeboshi. That may however stem more on how both try to erase all of existence and corrupt all souls forever.[27] Shinki?s daughter, Alice was very fond of her mother when she was young. However, since Alice?s departure to Gensokyo their connection has severely diminished, due to both being busy with their own lives. Shinki has to run a world and a company, and Alice has to protect Gensokyo whenever she isn?t selling dolls.[28] They claim to have once planned a family reunion, but due to business from both sides the family reunion has yet to have taken place.

Shinki?s most infamous relationship is that with Overlord Zetta, her former spouse. Having met several thousands of years ago Zetta and Shinki got into a close relationship. Besides being lovers they were also companions in the governing of demon worlds, helping each other out in times of need and supporting the growth of their worlds. Zetta?s relationship with the mighty Demon Goddess also further accentuated his ?Badass Freakin? Overlord? title. To most they seemed to be the perfect couple. However, Zetta was finally revealed to have an affair with Overlord Salome.[29] All Makai residents feared that this may cause a destructive feud between Shinki and Zetta, possibly obliterating both worlds. However, it was revealed that Shinki was also cheating Zetta for a long time. The one Shinki had an affair with was none other than the Head Master of Maritsu Evil Academy.[30] Both Shinki and Zetta decided they should peacefully part ways. They haven?t seen each other since that unfortunate day.[31] For many years it was unknown whether Zetta or the Head Master was Alice?s biological father. In the end it was revealed that it was neither, and that Shinki created Alice herself with her divine power. However, Shinki had indeed left a child to the Head Master. After a few DNA tests it was revealed that Shinki is in fact the biological mother of demon ace student Mao.[32] Mao still tries to deny the fact that he is a bastard child.

While Shinki spent most of her time creating demons and governing Makai and Makai Corp, she always makes time to hone her battle skill. Like all demons she has a passion for battling. Her love for battle eventually made her win the Orichalcum Cup in the Overlord Tourneys and the Champion Belt from ex-champion Baal.[33] She also has a passion for reading and has in fact written a few books. She also tries to learn to cook without using divine power. The results of her first time cooking forced all the demons in Makai capital to evacuate the city. It took several days to destroy the abomination Shinki had accidentally created.[34]

Shinki lives in a large, marble palace in the middle of the Makai capital with her personal maid Yumeko and several other loyal demons. She often invites over her dear friends. Shinki seems to get particularly close with Overlord Prier lately.[35]

Yuugi Hoshiguma
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Yuugi seen in her natural state: drunk and ready for more sake.

Yuugi Hoshiguma (age unknown, at least 500 years old by latest estimates [verification needed]) is an oni with powers over supernatural phenomenon[1] and one of the ?Four Devas of the Mountain? who currently resides underground in the Ancient City and gained notoriety as the winner of the 1st and only Gensokyo Drunk Diva Contest which lead to her eventual exile from the surface.[2]

Early Life
Little is known about oni beyond their reputed strength and proclivity towards alcoholic beverages and Yuugi is no exception.  It is also unknown how the title of Deva is assigned or its relevance in oni society; it is unclear if it is based on lineage, feats of strength, or other classifications as both Yuugi and Suika Ibuki held the rank in recorded interactions with the first reports by formerly abducted humans and youkai.[3]

Even among the oni, Yuugi had a reputation for being unusually strong for her age and build, though it is suspected by many Gensokyan anthropologists that those characteristics are unrelated to an oni?s strength.  She has a single horn in the center of her forehead, another physical trait with unknown correlation to her abilities.[4]  Numerous unsubstantiated rumors state that she has the ability to destroy the Youkai Mountain singlehandly but would much rather engage in leisure activities. [verification needed]

Entering Gensokyo
Approximately 400 years ago, the oni held a large-scale contest with the citizens of Gensokyo.  Instead of simple drinking competitions or strength matches, they chose to hold a tournament of spellcard battles with one primary difference ? the lack of sobriety allowed in the contest.[5] The Hakurei Shrine was chosen as the location for the competition, which had 60 participants take part in a single elimination drunken danmaku challenge.  Yuugi was crowned the winner after seven rounds of competition spanning four days and nights, defeating rabbit youkai Tewi Inaba in the final round and immediately held a grand feast in her own honor to celebrate.[6]

Exile
After the contest, the citizens of Gensokyo chose to keep the modified rules of the spellcard duels.  The inebriation state required caused the day-to-day society to come to a halt, and soon the drunken danmaku battles led to immense property damage throughout the land, estimated to equal over two hundred and sixteen million yen in damage[7].  The head of the Hakurei shrine at the time attempted to return Gensokyo to its original status by spearheading a campaign against the popular trend. [8] The group, called Shrine Maidens Against Drunk Danmaku, or S.M.A.D.D. for short, originally began as a set of public service announcements but soon gain the support of the more youthful youkai who were scared straight away from their prior behavior[9] and moved onto directly attacking the root cause of the problem ? Yuugi, the contest winner who had glorified such actions, and the rest of the oni who had now begun to live among the rest of Gensokyo?s citizens.

S.M.A.D.D. called for the complete prohibition of all alcoholic beverages in Gensokyo to mitigate damage from spell-card battles, and was passed by an overwhelming majority of land owning voters.[10]  Without a drop of sake in the land, Yuugi and the other the oni grew restless in the mainlands of Gensokyo and she led the retreat back to Youkai Mountain.  S.M.A.D.D. was not content with that course of action, and drove into the mountains to force the oni into one last retreat fearing that they would soon be back to alcohol-based mischief if they were not stopped once and for all.[11]

Yuugi decided to negotiate with S.M.A.D.D..  She agreed to lead a settlement into a underground location outside the Gensokyan jurisdiction where the oni would be given an unlimited supply of alcohol in exchange for keeping Gensokyo safe from assaults from below.  Keine Kamishirasawa?s subsequent census reported that over 90% of the oni chose to follow Yuugi into the underground and regain their former lifestyle while those remaining on the surface tended to scatter into isolated locations on the mountain, including fellow Deva Suika. [12]

The neutrality of this section is disputed. Please see the discussion on the talk page. Please do not remove this message until the dispute is resolved.

Current Events
Until recent, the details of Yuugi?s life after exile were unknown to the general public.  It wasn?t until the heroic expedition lead remotely by Gensokyo?s premiere reporter Aya Shameimaru two years ago. [self-published source?] [13] Yuugi was observed living in the Ancient City of Hell along with other youkai and oni who had disagreed with S.M.A.D.D?s policies, sake in hand.  Tabloid reports have hinted at a romantic link with fellow underground dweller Parsee Mizuhashi, but the validity of such claims will remain in question until it is reported in a manner more reputable than the Bunbunmaru [neutrality is disputed]. [14]

With the more festive atmosphere present under the current Hakurei shrine maiden Reimu, the repeal of prohibition over 200 years ago and the evolution of the spell-card system to what it is today, it is hypothesized [by whom?] that Yuugi may return to the surface one day.

-Actually, that reminds me ? didn?t Reimu come up with the spell-card duel system as a way to not get instantly hosed by youkai?  How the heck did they have it all the way back then? -- MissMasterSpark
-The spell-card duels that occurred in that time period were similar on the surface to the ones today,
however the safety limitations to humans were almost nonexistent which was the source of the massive

The Five Magic Stones
From Bunbunpedia, the free encyclopedia
  (Redirected from 5 Magic Stones)

The Five Magic Stones are a group of rocks discovered by Reimu Hakurei on August 15, 1997 [1]. This was considered a breakthrough by many, as the Five Magic Stones are the first known case of rocks being sentient and having the ability to shoot danmaku and lasers at people [2]. Since then, the Five Magic Stones have been instrumental to many discoveries that have redefined the way people utilize rocks and laser cannons in their ordinary life [3].

Legacy
One of the first scientists to take notice of the Five Magic Stones was Rikako Asakura, who attempted to use them as examples while establishing her theory that all humans evolved from rocks over thousands of years [4]. However, she was branded a heretic by Reimu Hakurei, who was scared this theory would cause a drop in believers of hakureism, resulting in Reimu receiving less donations. Scientists such as Orange agreed this theory seemed somewhat reasonable and began to protest against Reimu, but later mysteriously vanished in what are now known as the Rock Theory Disappearances. [5]

On December 18, 2007, Nitori Kawashiro took interest in the Five Magic Stones, and began the Rocks That Sit On Platforms Which Fire Lasers Experiment, in which subjects were told to stand infront of a platform with rocks on them. Half of these platforms had built-in laser cannons set to trigger when people stood infront of them, while the other half did not. The experiment was a huge success, and Nitori was honored with a Gensokyo Research Medal for her discovery that people who were not shot down by lasers experienced less pain than people who were. [6] Many residents of Gensokyo began to use lasers in their danmaku after this discovery, bringing about the Era of Spell Card With Lots Of Lasers In Them. [7] Later experiments were not as succesful, however. When Shou Toramaru attempted to create a newer, curvier type of lasers inspired by the now obsolete Cheeto Lasers model, she was mobbed and severely injured by angry combatants. When famous reporter Aya Shameimaru interviewed her on the matter, Shou responded that "haters gonna hate". Shou would later invent a new set of spellcards involving these curvy lasers on March 14, 2010. [8]

Yearly Magical Stone Viewing Event
The Five Magic Stones have proved popular with the residents of Gensokyo, inspiring famous oni Suika Ibuki to create the Yearly Magical Stone Viewing Event taking place every March 25th, where viewers stare at the mystic rocks for several hours while dodging lasers shot by the platform the rocks sit on. [9] The event is rather popular among the public, as shown by the large outcry when it was shut down by the Gensokyo Health Agency for causing well over nine thousand near-fatalities in the past 10 years due to the lasers. The Gensokyo Health Agency has not yet stated any intention to re-open the event in the future, despite constant protests. [10]

Trivia
* Since the discovery of the Five Magic Stones, the popularity of pet rocks has increased by over 50%. This resulted in high demand for the necessities of pet rock owners, such as air and space to place a rock, later causing the Gensokyo Pet Rock Economic Crash of 1998. [11]
* According to ancient scripts found in Makai, people once believed sleep danmaku to be caused by the Five Magic Stones feeding on danmaku while people slept, meaning that the Five Magic Stones may have existed for thousands of years before they were actually discovered. As a result of this, the Five Magic Stones have also been used as a name for a myspace band.
* Several victims of the Danmaku Burglaries of Early 2008 claim that the assaulter attacked them with huge lasers, causing people to associate the burglaries with the Era of Spell Card With Lots Of Lasers In Them. [12] Ran Yakumo, founder of the Shikigami Masters Against Magical Stones and Violence, blamed this on the popularity of the Five Magical Stones, requesting that stones be banished from Gensokyo forever as to not corrupt innocent shikigamis. However, the culprit was later found out not to be a shikigami, causing Ran's credibility to greatly lower in the eyes of the public. [cititation needed]

Notability
-- Why do the Five Magic Stones even get an article? They're just a bunch of rocks Reimu beat up. They're not notable at all. - Alice

The excerpt "However, she was branded a heretic by Reimu Hakurei, who was scared this theory would cause a drop in believers of hakureism, resulting in Reimu receiving less donations, which is bad, because donations are awesome and so is Reimu, which makes donating to Reimu doubly awesome. That's a really good idea, actually." does not come from a neutral standpoint, and I have attempted to fix this section of the article. Please do not make edits like this in the future. - KeineKamishirasawa (Sysop)

Hey Sakana, I restored the image on my article. So to make this copy of my article complete you'll have to copy the image too, alright? (For some reason my previous image got corrupted...)

<Sakana> Will be done. Also, I'll need to change the blue to navy, it's unreadable >_>

Oh man, I remember reading these from the CMPC. What cracks me up the most are the chat logs.
I am a thinker. I cast light on various concepts. I can unveil the world's dark secrets if I so please. And yet, there is a single enigma that even I cannot clarify.  - Renko Usami

I am a dreamer. I wander through countless dreams. If I will, I can even walk the roads of the land of illusion. And yet, there is a single vision that even I cannot grasp. - Maribel Han

The My Immortal reference at the end of the Five Magic Stones' talk page had me in stitches, oh god. Nue as a whining emo teen and Hatate as a stoopid fuking prep made entirely too much sense.

Personally, I can't read the links in blue, but maybe that's just my own eyes. They're normally good at colour contrasts, but I can't read 'em with or without glasses. Maybe something lighter? But if it doesn't bother anyone else, then don't change it.

It's not just you. I also think they need to be lighter. I only realized after changing that, while navy is better than blue, it's still awful to read  :ohdear:
Any ideas on a good color are welcome. I tried aqua before, but thought it looked weird...

It looked bad on the original white background, but not here; here it looks just fine. Aqua would be a fine choice.

Use teal.

<Sakana> Teal? How does that look? Hm, how about i try like this....
Hmm, yeah, that doesn't look too bad, I guess I'll change the 'links' to teal then.

[ruro]I looked at this five days later, and guess what? A certain librarian forgot to fix the tags! This merits some punishment~ >:D [/ruro]
