So Septette and Reimu are dominating #1 this year as well. Also, the top 4 is actually quite strong for the last few polls. Apparently Septette, UN Owen, Border of Life and Cosmic Mind are obviously most appreciated songs. Especially noting Cosmic mind, as it immediately took 3rd place upon introduction (when UFO was out) and in the following up poll it threw Border of Life away from 2nd spot for a moment.

So much hope but in the end we failed. Reimu's reign continues.

Still, like Scotland winning the world cup - the hope is the fun part of it. Hopefully some day we will be victorious.

I don't mind so much that Alice didn't get the throne. I love her but her position was benificial to the cause. She got more 1st place votes than any other character - including Reimu. We had the potential but we didn't manage to use it. If it wasn't for the fact that it was Marisa who got 2nd then I'd vote for the second every year until Reimu no longer had the throne. Just like I'd like to see Wales or Ireland winning the world cup even if it's not my beloved Scotland.

Same here, came into the series a couple months after MoF was released. I remember it quite clearly actually, when there was a lack of MoF-related works when I tried looking around for em :V

Looks like the biggest winners on this poll were Parsee (+13, 38->25), Koishi (+11, 14->3), Renko (+11, 48->37), and Maribel (+10, 72->62). Koishi's pretty obvious, but I'm kinda curious to what made the other three slightly more popular.

On the other hand, the biggest losers were Yoshika (-22, 55->77), Futo (-16, 19->35), and Koakuma (-15, 56->71). I wonder what happened here. Even with the normal drop because of the new characters, these drops just seem too steep.

Regardless of a new game release, there will be a voting next year.

For that matter, I haven't looked into it, but it seems the organizers were big KanColle players themselves, and some people must have blamed the problems with the contest on their KanColle habits.

In any case, they really had no good excuse for not holding a contest last year, with Kosuzu introduced, Sealing Club returning, and SoPM significantly adding to the universe.
