Yeah let's throw in some Extra runs. Nereid and Random's clears seem to be rather cool and optimal, so I doubt I'd be able to beat them, but maybe I'll try. Meanwhile, let's focus on other stuff. I'll add shots to the post as I go on.

Run was ok up until Hourai Doll, where I died once, deathbombed twice and normally bombed once. Great way to throw a run into hell. Also safespotted death fairy since I was being a pussy and playing for full survival given the unfocused condition.

So, back to Border team. It's nice and easy-ish gameplay. Relaxed and laid-back enough for me.
Easy - Reimu & Yukari

ReplayI'll write something about the run in a bit.So, trying out new stuff. Stage 1, first fairies with familiars, I'm shooting them a bit as they appear. Seems to net in about
10 to 30 extra time. It means that even with mediocre cancels I can consistently get
over 1100 time leaving midboss Wriggle. It's pretty nice as my standards go. The final portion of stage 1 is awful on this run.
I pop familairs from two fairies and success with only two cancels. Still, the better-than-before early-on stage portion saves me and I still enter Wriggle with 1700 time. Doing the
two-waves trick for the final non. It's nothing too hard, but it's nice. Hey, Wriggle's final spell.
I'm trying out new stuff, and it seems to be working rather well, at least for me. I tested things around in spell practice a bit earlier today, and the grazing seems to be a better way for me. I could optimize it a bit, though. I must try it out more, seems like there's quite a bit of potential left in that spell for me. (I need to watch st and KML...'s runs again. I've forgotten how they handle it.)
Fucking up cancels in stage 2 early portion. I don't miss fairies, though. It's still bad, but not
that bad. I need to run some practice in order to remind myself on the timings for border team, I really, really need to. Feels like I'm
dodging Wriggle's second spell a bit higher than I used to. At least I can maintain full shooting on something for almost entirety of the time. Also been learning something better for the penultimate spell.
Look at that cancel, for example. (it's not easy as it looks, at least not for me!)
Early-on stage 3 starts to hit me, I've forgotten a lot of stuff and it sure is visible here. I can deal with the missing cancels and items, though, but what really hits the score is
deathbombing the midboss non. I'm not sure what hit me, but it was really, really stupid. Throws me into youkai side for the duration of the spell, too, as the bomb ends the non. Awch. Been practicing
better safespots for the big fairies. For Keine's first spell, you can do
this and make it so that the homing is not hitting the boss all of the time. I'm not sure if it's efficient, though. I need to run some research on that. Didn't do the cool st-style supergraze for Keine's finale. I haven't learned it well enough yet.
~220k point-item value and 454M entering midboss Reimu. Some missed point-items, lots of skipped stuff in stage 4. I'm too lazy/bad to learn proper fairy-hugging or cancelling. Mediocrity'll do for now. FOR NOW. Almost died on Midboss Reimu's first card, but didn't. Kind of scary, or maybe I've forgotten stuff. I shouldn't get shaky that early in the run, either, so it's fairly odd. Oh well. For midboss Marisa's second card, I've started doing the PoC. It's fairly simple on shots that are not Yuyuko. I should learn something for Yuyuko too, though, given how she's my main scoring shot or something. Rest of Marisa is just flinging around and shooting unfocused, nothing special. I've practiced
a cancel for the final card. It's a nice boost, if you ask me, and not hard to pull of at all.
Within stage 5,
I forgot to safespot one of the fairies... right. Well, not that huge of a deal. Got a
36-cancel off midboss Tewi again. Scary shit, I got lucky. There's nothing special in the rest of the stage,
aside from me failing the gauge for the beginning of the final non. Silly, bad finishing on the spell before it. Also, failed the cancel on the two final cards. Not big deals, but every extra bit of score would be welcome.
missed items on stage 6B opener, YAY. not many items, though, so let's pretend it won't matter. Picked some stuff below the PoC, unoptimal grazing on Eirin's card. (I haven't learned it) Entering Kaguya with
okay score. It could be higher, but I'll be content with whatever I'm given.
Popping that one familiar again on the second spell. I need to learn the timing and how long I can damage it without killing it. I don't think it's a big deal, but it'd be neater to finish the card without popping any!
Boom boom deathboom on third nonspell. I suck at it and the thing can go to hell and burn there for a good while.
unfocusing during Rainbow Danmaku... is somewhat of a bad idea, I think. Oh well, we'll deal with it, shake such things off and carry on without caring of little mistakes. Got a 41M bonus off the first last spell, which is better than what I usually get. Nice.
Succeeded at the 4th last spell, darn that thing is huge.
Final score of 2,39B, I'm happy with that.
