>What do we have planned for tonight?
>Better yet, consult Sakuya on this, she should have it written down somewhere for us.
>Sakuya is currently away from the manner, running an errand for you. Although, it shouldn't have taken her THIS long...
>Flandre's.... instability had been showing some improvement ever since you arrived in Gensokyo. Not enough to let her out of the mansion, of course, but enough to let her out the basement, now and then. She joined you for one of Mei Ling's dinners a week ago, and the results were less than pleasant. Your gate guard may be a competent chef- else, Sakuya would never let her near the kitchen- but on this occasion, she underestimated the spicyness and flavor of one of her dishes. Flandre, whose experience with such flavor is limited at best, reacted rather... strongly.
>Although the kitchen, dining room, and the whole of the west wing of the mansion has been largely repaired, the event led you consider a course of action that wasn't possible in the outside world, but might be in Gensokyo - finding a counselor for your sister. Someone to help her control herself in a way that you, much as it pains you to admit, have failed to do.
>Sakuya offered to go forth into Gensokyo to try and find someone who could do just that. You've been a little out of touch, ever since you cancelled your subscription to the Bunbunmaru Newspaper. You know there's been quite a few new arrivals in the city, but you've never bothered to go out and learn more beyond rumors about most of them, apart from that trio of goddesses that took over Youkai Mountain. This seemed as good a time as any to gather information of that sort, and at the same time find someone to assist Flandre. If such a person can even exist.
>Sakuya has been away from the Mansion for four days- no, FIVE days now. You expect she's just doing a thorough job with her search, but Gensokyo's not THAT big a place, certainly not for someone with her speed and efficiency. She should have been back by now, and her absence is causing you a fair amount of consternation.
>Relationships
>Patchouli Knowledge: Your oldest friend, though it took a little bit for the two of you to warm up to each other. She essentially took it upon herself to move into the great library of your mansion- you actually didn't even know she was there for the first month or so of her occupation. But after some time, you came to realize that she was one of, if not the, most powerful magicians you'd ever met, and having her around could be quite useful, and certainly entertaining. You've yet to be disappointing, though you wish she'd loosen up a bit more.
>Mei Ling Hong: Gate guard of the mansion. She's really more competent than most people think, and you know it. It amuses you to think that some people actually believe someone like yourself would employ an unqualified individual to guard your demesne.
>Sakuya Izayoi: Head maid of the mansion, your personal attendant and most devoted servant. Her presence is invaluable to you. It's been rather.... you don't want to use the word 'lonely', in her absence, but it's the only word you can come up that fits what you've felt, despite your verbose vocabulary.
>Flandre Scarlet: Your cherished little sister. Loving her is not always entirely easy, given her damaged mind, but she's your sister. The list of things you wouldn't do for her is a very short one.
>Koakuma: You were actually pleasantly surprised when Patchouli summoned her familiar spirit and got this redhead. Not only is she efficient and effective with most things Patchy wants her to do, she's been a great help around the mansion as well, though this caused a bit of professional friction between her and Sakuya. Plus, she tries to pull the rod out of Patchy's backside now and then as well, in addition to trying to manage her health. She's done rather well at both, and you admire her skill at this. She's no Sakuya, no one has an attendant like yours, but she's quite good.
>Reimu Hakurei: While you may not have gotten off on the best foot with the Hakurei miko, you've since become rather friendly with the young woman. You even allowed her to assist you in solving that incident with the fake moon. (Never mind that she's the one that actually defeated that moon princess, you and Sakuya did all the HARD work.)
>Marisa Kirisame: This little witch has been like a firecracker rolled down your hall. You'd like it if she didn't cause QUITE so much property damage during her raids on the library (although half of that is Patchy's fault) but you know that Patchouli is quite fond of the blonde, despite any protests she offers to the contrary. You've considered meddling in the affair yourself, for the sake of peace within the mansion, and because Patchouli would probably be happier and better off married, but have decided it was more fun to sit back and let the two of them settle the affair themselves.
>Keine Kamishirasawa: The guardian of the human village, you and she are not on the best of terms, what with you being a vampire and a youkai and all. She's on better terms with the other residents of the Mansion, but has made it quite clear that you, and especially your sister, are not welcome in the village. She may not be in your league in terms of power, but the nature of hers gives you pause at actually challenging her. It would likely be more trouble than it's worth.
>Get into normal wear!
>Consider going into basement to check our dear sister.
>You are currently wearing your standard light pink dress and patching cap. Did you wish to change?
>Flandre should be safely back in her basement. She's been there reflecting on blowing up the west wing. Well, reflecting in her own way. She does try. Visiting her should be quite safe for all parties concerned.
>Abilities
>Enhanced strength: You are far stronger than a human, even stronger than a great deal of youkai, due to your vampiric nature.
>Enhansed senses: Your eyesight is better than average, and you can smell blood almost as good as a shark can. (In reality, it's not THAT good, but your olfactory sense for blood is quite high). You can also detect the presense of certain sicknesses in peoples blood, as well as if that person is a virgin. Virgin's blood tastes and smells better.
>Vampiric Blessing: Like all vampires, you can turn someone you bite into a vampire. This is one ability you've never used in all your years.
>Shapeshifting: You are capable of assuming the shape of bats, either one large individual bat, or a swarm. You typically use this ability to evade attacks or for snooping on your fellow SDM dwellers.
>Flight
>Danmaku
>Manipulation of Destiny: You have the ability to 'push' against people's fate, to make it come out the way you want, in limited forms. Frankly, it sounds grander than it actually is, but you're creative enough to work around this.
>Weakness: Blood dependance. Not as pronounced in you as other vampires, you can go much longer than normal without drinking blood. Nor do you need as much when you hunger.
Current satiation level: Sated.
>Weakness: Sunlight. Sunlight does not instantly vaporize you, as it does some others of your kind. It is, however, quite inconvenient, weakening you when you stand in open sunlight, requiring you to take a parasol with you when you venture out in daylight. Prolonged exposure to open sunlight can, in fact, be fatal to you, but it would take at least two hours of consistent exposure.
>Weakness: Running water/Rain. Rain weakens you just as sunlight does, and you are unable to cross open water such as rivers or streams, except over bridges.
(Parser's note: If anyone spots something important I've missed, feel free to mention it. Remilia's not a character I'm extremely familiar with.)
>Cause Incident
>Inventory. If we have one at the moment.
>What kind of tea are we drinking tonight?
>Word around the mansion?
>Has anything interesting happened recently in Gensokyo? That we know of already of course.
>How have the residents of our great manor been lately.
>Has anyone besides Marisa broken into the mansion as of late?
>Have we had our meal yet?
>Not before the first ten posts.>You are not currently carrying anything beyond the clothes you have equipped, save one vial of blood, which you always carry for emergency purposes. Your spellcards and belongings are safely tucked your room behind you.
>Plain milk tea. Brewed by a thoughtful Koakuma, in Sakuya's absence. It's not bad, but compared to Sakuya, the demon has a ways to go.
>Mostly pertaining to Sakuya, most of the fairies think she's either taking an extended vacation, or eloped with Marisa, or that you and she had a falling out, or... Well, you know how fairies talk.
>There were some rumors that floated your way some weeks ago about a long dead conqueror coming back to life, or something, but that was about the long and short of it. Knowing Reimu, if this was anything major, she would have handled it. Or come asking for your help.
>Mei Ling's been rethinking some of her recipies since that debacle last week, hoping that Sakuya will even let her back in the kitchen one day. Patchy's been cooped up in her library, but to say this is normal is something in the league of an understatement.
>There was an over-ambitious cockroach that managed to breach the mansion's defenses a couple weeks back, but was quickly dispatched by Sakuya as soon as she heard the first fairy scream. You admired its courage, but its fate was sealed as soon as it crossed paths with Gensokyo's most elegant maid. Matter of fact, it's actually been a month or so since Marisa raided the place. Perhaps she ran out of room to put her booty?
>Koa provided a modest meal for you in your room. You weren't feeling especially hungry, or like company, but Sakuya would be cross if you don't maintain your own health.
>Quests.
>LAZY FAIRIES
>The repairs on the guest quarters in the west wing have stalled somewhat. Without Sakuya around to keep the fairy maids in line, they've been getting more and more useless as the days have gone on. They may require some... motivation.
>THE QUEST FOR THE MAID
>With the advancing sunset, and the long night that come with autumn in Gensokyo, you've been considering going after Sakuya yourself. Her prolonged absence is intolerable.
>WHERE'S MARISA?
>Now that you think about it, Marisa doesn't usually go a month without at least visiting the Mansion, whether she steals something or not. Could she be up to something? Might be worth investigating, if you choose to go out.
>PATCHOULI RECRUITING AGAIN?
>While delivering your meal tonight, Koakuma let slip that Patchouli's revisiting her books on familiar summoning. Since she already has a servant familiar, and a moderately powerful one at that, you've wondered why this might be.
