All in all... I'm mostly satisfied.  I bombed a few times when I should not have needed to, and was humiliated by Patchy and Stage 5, too - and losing that last spare life on Scarlet Meister made Scarlet Gensokyo rather tense.  I STILL am going to need to figure out Scarlet Meister before I can feel confident enough to 1CC more often.

But, hell, I won, that's an achievement.

Well, I've been trying to capture the lunatic version and I almost just did while unlocking Stage 6 for practice with MarisaA; I dodged 2 full waves of 2.
Without any memorization, just reading and dodging.

Oh, and 1DNB lunatic Sakuya. (stupid second nonspell...)

Now, see, the way it feels to me is that Scarlet Gensokyo may very well be "easier" than Red Magic (Scarlet Magic?  I don't know.), it's just that the times when I'm going to go up against, well, either one, are usually the times when I have to shift my bomb reflex a few milliseconds further to the side of caution because I'm low on resources, shaking with anticipation and excitement, and generally going for a 1CC attempt.

Which is why I dreaded taking that hit to Scarlet Meister, because going into Scarlet Gensokyo at three bombs (ended up being two) and zilch for lives would normally be a death sentence to my run.  But, hell, I'm the one who captured Flying Fantastica Normal in a flurry of unprecedented (for me) competence during my victory against Byakuren that included a capture of Sinker Ghost earlier in the run and a perfect run of the Devil's Recitation/St. Nikou's/Flying Fantastica gauntlet.  So, hey, something like this will come to me eventually, right?

The only thing stupid about Sakuya is her spells and you need to understand how the second non-spell is the coolest thing she has. Especially on max rank.

It actually lowered the rank and made things much easier than if you captured Meister That happened to me on normal causing the only capture of Red Magic i've got (though i've got some luck with Remilia moves too)

Damn. Why i always fail at this spell even on normal. It's easy, i know how it works, but i keep screwing it up all the time >_< As for all game spells capturing, i can challenge it only on normal. And wait a minute... Is it only Miracle of Otensui wich keeps me from that accomplishment? :wat:

This was the last normal spell I captured in the game, so quite possibly.
By 'full game capture' I mean every spell on every difficulty though-this includes lunatic :3 (VoWG took less tries for me to capture than Sanae's first spell: how messed up is that?)

The rank was not only lowered by death but also didnt increased by capturing a spell. It's also a good thing in a game like this wich have this rank system and hard last spell. Anyways, congratz on successfull run

The best part is that I was recording, and Fraps was actually nice enough to split the video into only 3 parts. Expect to see the clear up on Youtube within the day.

Just did another run of PCB Extra, captured 8 cards out of 12 and missed 4. Those four misses were, if I can recall all of them, I bombed Red Oni Blue Oni, I died on Kokkuri-San's Contract due to being a graze-happy twit, I died on Unilateral Contact because I fucking hate it more than the one that everyone seems to bitch about, the one where you dodge bubbles inside a container in the shape of a rhombus, which I captured in that run. I can't remember the others, but to tell the truth I counted how many times I died/bombed during a spell and how many times I captured them while watching the replay (Thank you Vsync Patch for fastforwarding ability)

Apparently my clear/miss ratio for the one with my top score is 10 to 2, which makes me feel sad that my run without the Vsync patch was better than the one with.

Finally. Miracle of Otensui normal 1/33 with Reimu B. This makes all MoF normal spellcards captured, yay!

Also attempted to close the "old deal" with Marionette wich keeps me from the same accomplishment in EoSD. But this is impossible! I keep derping into it whatever i do. Reimu or Marisa, misdirecting or tight dodging, high or low rank, no matter. I can capture it only on easy :qq:

As for all_spells_in_da_game, i suppose the only one i could do it is my favourite Ten Desires :3 I've already captured all of easy, normal and hard spellcards and a few of lunatic. There are also overdrive and extra wich would be the problem, but i dont feel like i wanna go for such a challenge now.

Why do I ALWAYS screw up even the simplest parts of the stages in 1cc's when I can do it perfectly fine in stage practice?

Nevertheless, I finally managed to 1cc EoSD Normal with ReimuB, which means I don't need to use ReimuA for the extra stage anymore, at last.
The only parts I still have somehow problems with is Meilings last card, Undine, Sylph and almost all of Remilia. (even when it not looks that way in the replay...)

But I won't rest until I get a proper 1cc with ReimuB.

Well, I decided having failed to 1CC anything for almost a month to go back to TD and give it another go, see how much I've 'improved' since my 1CC, which I ended with 1 Bomb and 0 lives.

I'm STILL not happy with this, for several reasons:
1: I missed a few resources. Going to the PoC on the end of stage 2 stopped a wave spawning at the end, for example and onthe start of stage 5 I bombed instead of tranceing.
2: Herpa-Derped on Miko's 2nd spellcard, I have only captured it once, to be completely fair, but, seriously, I thought I was past clipping that spell :/
3: Decided to hit the SCREW THIS button majorly on her penultimate spell.
4: Pretty bad fight against Seiga in general, although capture of her 2nd spell is good.
5: I did worse against Miko than my first 1CC
6: Lower score

Still, it's an improvement. And seeing as I haven't actually played TD aside from Extra for a month before this...

ALmost did a No Death run of Imperishable Night Normal but Kaguya kinda ruined it for me. (2 deaths on her).

Still it marks the first time I have EVER broken the 1 Billion point mark in a Touhou game. =D

Not to put a damper on this, but IN survival runs often hit a billion, and for the other Touhou games hitting a billion requires scoring tricks.

I was surprised at how it was turning out. I was playing for the sake of playing alongside osme in class. Didn't expect it to do that. (I also capped Dragon Necklace which I NEVER do. I had a head-desk worthy derp on the stage whilst trying to get points, got that life back, derped on Eirin's non-spell but capped her card and Rainbow Dnmaku at the only other life.)

Same here. Though i dont wonder why i'm enjoying timing out spellcards (even in the games without spell practice) cause it's really fun.

Also, have you seen this a few lines under your upload? Needs ultra patch for more crazyness.
