I'm am sadden cause the catfish had so much potential to be Launchpad McQuack material.... Now this feels kinda... well..let me not get into that...

For this upcoming round:

This one is one of the more tougher matches though my speculations say we're going to see 2 people become dominate in it.

Byakuren and Orin. Both who I tend to favor quite well.

Lily White lacks much going for her other than her repetitious "It's Spring" stuff and Ichirin, while cute is mostly a spokes person for Unzan.

Byakuren (motherly traits, Messiah complex, ect) and Orin (association with the dead, Neko features, ect. ) both have many different traits going for them that'll likely pull them into the lead quickly. Thus why I see the two of them becoming dominate in this round. Who will win is anyone's guess.... (I still think Orin will win though)

Lily is rather nondescript for me. Sure, she is kind of cute, but that's not enough and other than that... well, I've got nothing. Well, I guess the spring thing makes her moe somehow, since many plants start to "bud" there. Which is pretty much a stolen pun, which is awful and shouldn't not be used as reason to vote for her. But then again, I voted for Yuuka, so I probably should just shut up.

I don't care much for Ichirin. But then again, who does? She's just Unzan's hitbox, after all, and massively overshadowed by him. I wouldn't be surprised if she'll get less points than him. I guess, being overshadowed by a cloud (of all things) is kind of moe on it's own (in a "poor little thing" way), but it's not enough.

So, it comes down to the buddhist, who was quite a bitch a long time ago, but got better, and a corpse collector, who is a cat and is BFF with a cute (scientifically proven!) but stupid bird.

Well, Byakuren is actually kind of moe. If I were mean and maybe a bit cynical, I'd say it's mostly because of her naivety (which can be viewed as cute, at least), since she seriously thinks that humans and youkai can coexist. Actually, I say this despite not being mean, so there. Still, "moe" is not exactly something that comes to my mind when I think of Byakuren.

So, it will probably be Rin. She is a catgirl. That alone would be enough to win, since cat traits give quite a nice amount of moe points and the competition is rather weak. However, a few points get subtracted, since she also has human ears (seriously, two pairs of ears? What's up with that?), which also make me fear that the cat ears are actually fake, but since there is no evidence beside her human ears, I won't subtract more points. My impression of Rin has her as catgirl. Obvious, I know, but I think she also has a catgirl personality, at least what I imagine a catgirl to be. I can't really explain it, sorry. In any case, it gives her more moe points. Also, she and Utsuho (who won a a previous round) make good moe buddies.

So yeah, Orin it is. But the human ears are still fucking stupid.

This match was such a disappointment.
Not only does catfish not win, this round actually has the lowest voter turnout of the entire contest so far.
Nobody even bothered to try cheating.

Cat or not, an undertaker that takes joy from her work is creepy. Especially when she starts asking about your corpse.

As for this round, I will deviate from my normal procedure of choosing the most loli character, and go with Orin. Maybe I'm weird, but creepiness is very moe to me. (And the fact that she gets a bunch of fairies to pretend to be undead for her is adorable.)

Next round is full of not so moe characters. Like normally I'd call a round for someone but I legitimately can't tell who would win this. Maybe Satori, she seems more niche than the others. Youmu is fairly popular but I don't think anyone thinks her to be all that endearing. Meanwhile Yoshika has the ditzy thing going, I mean if being dumber than Okuu is cute to you.

Yeah I have no clue, but I'm going to guess Satori. I'l vote for uh Youmu I guess, since she has that impossible to learn pressure thing going for her.

I don't think Yoshika stands a chance. It'll be between Satori and Youmu. I predict a victory for Youmu, though it may be close. I'll be voting for Satori. She's cute, unique, and has a slight aura of tragedy, which is quite moe from my perspective.

Even ignoring that Youmu is pretty damn popular in the grand scheme of 2hus and that fanon declared her "the softest", she was the main character in what is, far and away, the best chapter of OSP to date, and it was basically made to moe her up.

I would be genuinely surprised if she didn't win handily.

My speculations for round 30:

This is going to by Youmu's and Satori's battle here. Most of the others don't stand a chance.

Youmu's got her youthful,cute appearance and her serious skills to boot (plus major character bonus). Satori has her animal lover's appeal and her very unique appearance.

Satori is one of the few Touhou characters to actually manage to get very far in the Japanese Touhou Saimoe. So I could see her doing the same here. As she's been the Ensmble Dark Horse.

I was going to consider Yoshika a Dark horse, but like all new charters, they don't usually get far without appering in doujins first. Even with her awesome derpiness.

So yeah Satori and Youmu will be the ones I think will be the focus here.

Also a vote for Satori from me. She always stood out more even to the softest.

I'm going to venture a guess that Goliath Doll will get some votes just because, Satori will almost surely get a very respectable number of votes for equally respectable reasons, and Yoshika will get a fair number of votes because of how fun a character she can be but may still struggle with being one of the newer ones. Still,

I removed some of the snow from around where I heard the voice. And there appeared the head of a silly-looking girl, the first one to ever receive the counterattack from the rooftop snow.

A little while after I began removing the snow, she was able to move again and she freed herself from the pile. Maybe it was because of the ordeal she just went through, but when I opened the door, she entered after me with an embarrassed look on her face.
      The girl, who goes by the strange name of Youmu Konpaku, started to shiver from the cold as soon as she entered the shop. She was wearing green from head to toe, with a broad and short skirt that seemed very cold. Her bobbed haircut looked excessively childish ? and the way she showed up was also quite childish.

Youmu's adorability is canon.  It doesn't help that she's a half-ghost who's afraid of ghost stories. Such characteristics show up very frequently in fanon to boot. This should be a pretty big match.
